Set up camp at 9000 feet on 14 acres of beautiful private land in the wooded hills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. The property offers beautiful views of the San Luis Valley to the west, as well as the snow capped peaks of Blanca Peak and Mt. Lindsey to the north. During the day, enjoy the nature around you with views of the San Luis Valley and the Sangre de Cristo Range. At night, see all of the stars you can imagine. Mt. Blanca is the 4th highest peak in the Rocky Mountains and is a fourteener coming in at 14,351 feet. The property is about 45 minutes (39 miles) from Great Sand Dunes National Park, one of the most intriguing national parks in the United States. It is also about 15 minutes (10 miles) south of Fort Garland, Colorado which is the closest town, sandwiched in between this property and the mountain range to the north. Fort Garland has a grocery store, a couple restaurants, and gas stations. There is a steep dirt road that takes you to the property, however the views from the top are stunning. I do not offer any additional amenities on site so you will be camping out in the wilderness! This property is in a gorgeous area that offers privacy with beautiful views.
