PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS PROPERTY. (there is little, sneaky quiz prior to us accepting your booking request ;)CAMPSITE 6 SALVADOR A level spot in the middle of the property with a wide open view of the stars at night and right between the communal camp fire area, outdoor kitchen and bathrooms. Due to the location of the site, we recommend only booking if you have a camper or RV to sleep in. If you want to set up a tent next to the RV, that's great! And, if you're cool with being in the center of the Ferretti Farm action, just a tent is fine. We have a banner that can be strung across the site marking where the site ends and community walk way starts. This entire site can be used by those booking it, but they must be aware that they could have camper foot traffic on the far end.
COVID-19 - While we offer soap, hot water and disinfectant spray we trust that our campers are taking precautions to stay safe and will practice social distancing while staying with us. We do not have anything marked, as we trust that we all are aware of how far 6 feet apart is. ;) We are not able to clean our bathroom after each guest and ask each camper to clean up before and after themselves to ensure their own safety. Sadly, someone has already stolen some of our supplies and we can't afford to keep giving away free things. We know that YOU would never do that....
Thanks for understanding!!!
What we are: We are a Hipcamp that offers our guests a clean, hot shower and two indoor toilets. Pretty rad, right?! We are people who are utilizing a very old, funky mobile home to make some money and pay off our land while living in the shabby chic cottage on site. We are a peaceful place in historic downtown Groveland to enjoy a glamping experience in one of our beautiful, canvas tents, stay in our fully equipped 18 foot RV, pitch your own tent, or park your RV under the same pines and oaks that fill Yosemite National Park. We are a new venture on a property that has been mistreated for years and we are loving it back to health on a very limited budget. We are a place that has a super cool, vintage, outdoor kitchen with hot water & cold water, a 1950 Wedgewood gas range with four burners, a bar with 4 stools and an umbrella and a small propane bbq. BRING YOUR OWN COOK/SERVING/DRINK WARE! We are a 3-5 minute walk from the public transit system into Yosemite. Check out YARTS dot com online for schedules. WE ARE AN AWESOME PLACE TO BE!!!
What we are not: a snooty, high end, generously funded campground with brand new furniture, a pristine campfire ring, manicured sites and marble showers. (Although, we are people who love to visit those places!)

Our stay at Salvador Ferretti Farm was perfect. Great location in Groveland and super close to Yosemite park entrance. I would definitely stay here again. The outdoor kitchen setup was perfect for cooking meals at home. The location is great if you want to eat out as well. Thank you for a nice stay!
Personally, this campsite was a great life experience. I’d like to start off that the host Roni is a wonderful person who works hard on this property.
The tipi we stayed in was awesome, it was spacious and clean. We created a fun memory by staying under a tipi during our adventurous across the country toad trip. It was pretty nice not having to set up the tent for the night. We did have to use our own air mattress which would have been way better in my opinion. Inside the tipi you’ll find some bean bags and dresser.
Outside, you will see a cute wooden picnic for you to enjoy some gathering time. The area you’ll be sleeping and congregating in is comfortable and private setting. Now, the common area is pretty rough. You will have to enter an abandoned trailer and walk into the shared (whole campground) single restroom and shower. I’m sure this area will be polished up by the time you arrive or at least I’d hope so. Because it’s rather rough to just walk into.
Just know that I now double check what my amenities look like and hold a standard for usage. Other than that my experience was great in Groveland!
It’s a cute little village for some delicious pizza and hot coffee and live music just walking distance of campsite.
Roni is fantastic and her vision for Ferretti Farm is inspired! It’s apparent that she really cares about her guests having an enjoyable and relaxing stay. She’s thought of practically EVERYTHING you may need to glamp! The outdoor, vintage kitchen with the 1950 Wedgewood is such a fun place to prepare meals. The funky decor in the old mobile home is really fun and having the benefit of a hot shower after a day of hiking in Yosemite is AMAZING!!! She has the recycle and trash area so organized to make it easy to help her keep the property clean. I loved that there was no option to leave garbage in the outdoor kitchen and all of the cleaning/disinfecting supplies she has there and in the bathrooms made be very comfortable dealing with COVID-19.
This place is obviously a labor of love and I would love to come back!
The hosted campfire is really a treat, too!
Overall an outstanding experience. We had some conflict with a neighboring camper which Roni addressed promptly. Great facilities, Roni was very responsive, a fantastic camp host. Lots of trees, rad outdoor kitchen and dining. Prime location walking distance from downtown Groveland (including Bus Stop for YARTS)
Yosemite proximate and fabulous
Roni is a great hostess- responsive and friendly. She has made a lovely camp with a hipster comfort- clean and adorable. It is also a short walk away from a great beer garden live music place. We had a 30 foot trailer which was very challenging because we had to back into the site. But Roni was flexible and changed our site to one that ultimately was easier.
Friendly host in the woods
Roni was a wonderful caring host. She has taken many safety precautions and the camp is clean, accessible and very user friendly. You have a flush toilet and shower available and each site is private and roomy. Roni was quite flexible and allowed us to change to a spot that accommodated our truck and trailer better. The site is in the middle of the woods above Groveland, a cute historical town and about 1 hour from Yosemite. I highly recommend staying here!! One of the nicer Hipcamps we’ve stayed in.
Just what i needed for yosemite
I was so pleased with my 5 night stay at the Ferretti farm. First, Roni is the kindest, most understanding and helpful host. I actually screwed up the schedule and she bent over backwards to help - she really saved the trip. I stayed in one of the yurts, which was spacious and cozy. Cute decor, cozy bed, and functional furnishings. The farm is really charming - super clean spaces, picnic tables, and well lit. Power was available at the space, which was so great. The common area reminds me of traveling abroad and staying in a hostel. The other guests were like-minded and respectful. There’s a mobile home that’s been decked out for travelers and was really quite perfect. So thankful for a warm shower after a long day of hiking in the park. The outdoor kitchen was great for washing dishes. Everything you need is all there and the water is hot. The farm is truly a gem for travelers on a budget that prefer a step above camping. I can’t recommend this place enough.
