We had an amazing experience here. Wendy and John were so friendly and accommodating and their animals Bob the emu and Louie the dog were friendly and fun. The home is beautiful and we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are lucky to get a spot!
We had a wonderful time at Wuss Camp. Wendy and John were excellent hosts. The coffee was great and the fresh baguettes were to die for. We had a picnic on the beach courtesy of Wendy and had an excellent dinner and time together as a family. Wendy gave a great history of the area and ideas for what to do. It was so relaxing. We will be back for sure.
Quiet area, close to beach. Nice and private. Lots of space. Hot showers!! Will come again. We had a great time.
John and Wendy were super helpful leading up to and including our stay there. Their dog Louie is super cute and friendly and often came to visit our camp. This was a perfect base camp for exploring the North coast and we heard and saw lots of wildlife while we were there. Although we didn't use the showers, the bathroom was quite nice and well maintained.
This was a beautiful location with a very nice bathroom/shower set up and excellent privacy. It is a large open field with 3 sites scattered across it. They are easily walkable to each but far enough apart to be secluded and quiet. Each site has a safe established fire pit which was a nice touch. Our dog loved playing with the host dog, Louie. It was a tad damp each morning from the nice cool coastal fog which was nice but I wish I had brought boots to trek around. I would love to come back here again!

The place was great. Nice and quiet and Wendy was really nice. She provided us with alot of fire wood. Bathroom was super clean and had sanitizer wipes and liquid. There was hot water in the showers it was amazing. It gets cold at night i recommend dress warm and bring blankets. All and all its nice place for your family camp and safe. Almost forgot 1 mile to beach was amazing clean not alot people can even have a bonfire there. I took a small grill some chairs there was perfect relaxing day.
Wuss Camp was amazing, great location and even better hosts. Wendy and John were very welcoming and the breakfast baguettes and coffee were superb! You can hear the ocean roar at night and the close beach access was an added perk.

Perfect base camp for the redwoods!
The stay was very relaxing, quiet, and fun. It was so nice to have everything needed for a fire upon arrival. The bathrooms and shower was a nice little setup especially during covid so that not as many people would use it compared to an rv park. I would recommend the coffee add on. It was convenient and a good brew. Also yummy to have the bread add on. A lot of bread for little cost and makes an easy breakfast. The beach right down the road was spectacular. Everything was as described and worked out perfect. There's a huge field for dogs or children to run.

Thanks, Julia! And thanks, too, for mentioning the dampness in the morning. It's how we stay green and cool, but campers need to be prepared for it in all seasons. One mile from the north Pacific... goes with the territory:) Hope to see you (and your happy dog) again! Wendy
