The location is a quick 2 miles off the 101, at the best exit with all the amenities you need for your camping experience.  I am located where several wine trails begin that will wrap you through Foxen Canyon down into Santa Ynez and Los Alamos to Bob's Well Bread Bakery and some of the best intimate eateries at night. This is also a famous cycling route. Going North of Santa Maria you have hiking, beaches, sand dunes, more wineries and wine trails, hot springs, and the best (all time favorite) Thursday night Farmers Market in SLO.  Madonna Inn is a one of kind must see iconic pop culture throw back hotel/restaurant/bakery--a dessert and coffee stop after the market where you can check out every nook and cranny (especially both downstairs bathrooms) and be amazed by it.  The best clam chowder is in Pismo Beach at Splash Cafe, and the biggest killer cinnamon rolls are at Old West Bakery (one will feed 4+).   Worth the lines and have to get there early before they sell out--no guilt there if you hike Madonna Hill or Montana De Oro first!  When you are done checking out all the cool places on the Central Coast you will come back to a beautiful sunset, sky full of stars and a bonfire with complimentary s'mores.  Bring jackets because it does get cool at night; your own camping chairs, and any camping equipment for cooking.  I do supply a red oak burning grill and basic cooking utensils.  I have corn hole, card and board games available for those that want to unwind and be still in one place.

In following Health Officer Order No. 2020-12 for Santa Barbara County, effective date June 12, 2020, 8:00 a.m., for opening of Campgrounds protocol,  I will be disinfecting tents, the air mattress, opening, zippers, and provide the bedding for the air mattress if requested.  There will be hand sanitizer near the portable bathroom and communal area.
