There is a stone fire ring in the arena for all bell tent campers to use, but due to Covid camping guidelines, I have designated the pit for Baja and/or Cowgirl guest campers. This tent site will have access to a small personal grill (first come/first served checkout basis) so that your group can maintain private personal space and safe distancing. The tents are adequately spaced apart to fit two cars in between them, with room for a canopy, plus they are along the arena fencing, leaving wide open space within the center of arena. Please bring your own bundles of wood.
My ranch is centrally located on the Cali Coast, half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco, and is the perfect stopover when traveling the coast. The property is a quick 2 miles off the 101, at an exit with all the stores/amenities you need for your camping experience. I am located where several wine trails begin that will wrap you through Foxen Canyon down into Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, and Los Alamos to Bob's Well Bread Bakery, tasting rooms and some intimate cafes. This is also a famous cycling route. Going North of Santa Maria you have hiking, beaches, sand dunes, more wineries, bike trails, hot springs, and my all time favorite Thursday night Farmers Market in SLO. Madonna Inn is a one of kind must-see iconic pop culture throw back hotel/restaurant/bakery--a dessert and coffee stop after the farmers market where you can check out every nook and cranny (especially both downstairs bathrooms) and be amazed by it. In Pismo Beach you will find the Triple D famed Splash Café which has delish seafood and divine clam chowder. Just around the corner are the biggest, gooiest, yummiest to-die-for cinnamon rolls at Old West Bakery (one will feed 4+). Both are so worth the lines and you will have to get there early before they sell out (Maple Bacon)--no guilt there if you hike Madonna Hill or Montana De Oro first!
When you are done checking out all the cool places on the Central Coast you will come back to a beautiful sunset, sky full of stars and a bonfire with complimentary s'mores. Please bring jackets because it does get cool at night, your own camping chairs, and any camping equipment for cooking.
In following Health Officer Order No. 2020-12.5 for Santa Barbara County, effective date July 14, 2020, 5:00 p.m., for opening of campgrounds protocol, I disinfect the tent opening, air mattress, and zippers with Lysol, and I only will provide the sheeting and pillows for the air mattress. There is hand sanitizer and disinfectant next to the portable bathroom and communal area.

Lovely glamping experience
The yurt was beautiful! I pretty much stayed in it the whole time and relaxed. The air mattresses get cold at night so I would recommend bringing extra blankets. She provides some, but I needed to pull out my sleeping bag. I didn't really care; a lovely stay regardless!
Nice, but not secluded
The tent was great, and the facilities were nice, but I was very disappointed to find that in addition to the 4 main “glamp” tents, there were 2 RVs on the lot and several tent campers — some of whom were up until 1:30 am partying by their fire. I had in my mind that there would only be 2 other “glamp” tents, as per the photographs. I wasn’t expecting the crowd.
My best friend and I had an amazing stay here! The tent is large and comfortable, and the showers, toilet and sink area were immaculate. Meredith was prompt with her communication, and set up a table and small fire pit for us. This site is a short drive from Pismo Beach, so it was lovely to spend a day there. I would love to come back here another time.
