___________SITE OVERVIEW

CAMP or GLAMP with all you need! Surrounded by Unobstructed Ocean and Mountain Views on a Horse/Animal sanctuary in your own DreamScape atop the world. EXPANSIVE (private, several acre camp surrounded by 1000 of acres of protected lands), stocked kitchen, Warm water Shower House, flush toilets, 33’ DOME with COMFY KING BED - loads of room for extra tents: bed options, swings, fire pit and INDOOR FIREPLACES. BYO extra tents, RV or rent other on-site options...such as Stunning 30' Catering Teepee in warm months.

W/o generator THIS IS AN OFF GRID RANCH with NO WIFI ATT/Verizon work great here. See below for more information on sleeping set up and preparation.

*We offer this amazing dome via our alliance with Landscamper, a professional glamping solution provider based in California.

DURING COVID This Group Retreat is $175 for up to 4 People 


WEEKENDS: Winter-Spring  Fri and Sat: *TWO NIGHT, SIX PERSON MINIMUM or $225/night

WEEKENDS: Summer-Fall Fri and Sat: *TWO NIGHT, 15 PERSON MINIMUM or $450/night

Aditional guests: $25 person per, per night for all over 5 y/o (after base price which covers 4 people). Can host 50+ easily.



We are taking EXTRA PRECAUTIONS and wiping and spraying All surfaces down daily with peroxide and/or bleach - which are proven to kill the coronavirus easily and effectively. We also wear gloves and a mask.  We are removing any reuse items that cannot be wiped down such as comforters, blankets and decorative pillows. 


Plz do not book if you have had exposure and/or cancel if you have symptoms. Please get all your supplies before coming to our community. Thank you!

***We are also asking guests to bring their own bedding, blankets (we will have fresh clean sheets for you).*** 

Please practice social distancing with people and our animals at the sanctuary.

Additionally, we ask you join us in taking  precautions such as bringing your own products for sanitizing surfaces, including spraying where you touch, such as metal gates on the way in and out of the Sanctuary, as well as bathroom door, toilet and shower handles. Please use assigned bathroom.

Together we can make the Sanctuary a safe zone for all.

___________SLEEPING SET UP

The Dome comes with a king bed and sheets. There are 4 additional twin mattresses and two futons (no sheets). 

BYO Lots of cozy BEDDING

You can bring extra tents and or RV at no charge.

___________KITCHEN: IF needed, ask for list of what we stocked. Lots of pots, cutlery, plates, pans...stove, oven (works with generator), two ice chests


Please PRE-ARRANGE any EXTRAS, so we can have it all set up for you when you arrive. 

Although it’s absolutely stunning during the daylight hours, it gets really chilly (still gorgeous) at night so we have glamp options for those who wish it. Here are 3 suggested options (full description of each amenity below). *You can bring your own wood and gas. We offer these options to you at our cost to provide - so your experience is awesome: 


Warmest and brightest: 2 propane tanks for 2 heat sources in dome, one can of gas for electricity via generator and 1 box of wood for outside fire pit: $101 


1 propane bottle for one fireplace in dome and 1 can of gas for generator powers lights around camp, in kitchen and dome/heater/lights and kitchen oven: $53 


Wood for outside fire pit: $20 (bring extra layers and lanterns)


***We also have a TWO new PROPANE heat sources (a fireplace and a fire pit) in the dome: each need a 5 gallon propane tank at $28 a piece.

The combo of lighting both fires and use of generator really warms up the big dome space, the 2nd best is a combo of 1 fireplace and generator for lighting and heater.


Powers string lights in dome, magical setting around fire pit, gives light in kitchen, powers electric heater in dome (still need one fireplace running to warm up big space of dome) and oven in kitchen (stove top works with a match): $25 for gas. 

We are the only ones to start generator. If you bring your own high grade gas let us know. 


Plz bring back up batteries/car chargers Etc for devices - extra lamps and lanterns. ATT/Verizon work great here.

We also have solar twinkly lights and a battery lamp it’s good to bring your own as well. 


We offer wood for $20 for a big box of wood and starter shavings for 4-5 hours worth - you get twice value of store bought, more available if requested. *Plz don’t take freely from pile at the site, it’s not included. Thanks.

To book any of the above plz do so before arrival so I can have it on hand and ready for you: plz inquire.


The dome is not a house it is just a big fancy tent and subject to responding to weather.

It will get drippy with condensation when it is foggy, raining or if a lot of people are in the dome. We provide water Bowles/towels to catch drips from ceiling fan in storms. Plz bring towels if it is likely to rain during your trip. People are still able to enjoy the unique space and enjoy the up close with elements.


Great news! The brand new two stall and shared shower house is ready and available to you for your stay! Please bring your own towels. Out of consideration for social distancing we are dividing up and assigning bathrooms to particular camps.

___________EXTRA TENTS for larger groups

In dry months: $30 for each 2-3 person camping tent with sleeping bag and pad. Set up and pack away by guest. 3-4 16’ BELL TENTS for large (25 or more) multiple day events only can be put up with beds/glamping for $200 each. Or $100 w/o bedding. Pricing has fluctuated. 

30' TEEPEE catering tent with 4 tables and fire pit - only available in summer months $175 can sleep 6 on there own bedding. Check out photos. 

ADJACENT DOME SITE - if you have a party of more that 25 we ask you book our super popular“No Place Like Dome” camp. Has a king bed for two only. Additional $133/night plus service fees.  Not a camp for kids or dogs.

 ADDITIONAL SMALLER CAMP at Sanctuary Small tipi camp with a bed (won best camp in Ca!!) called Couple’s Corner, for $133/night plus services fees , serves two people but there is room for an additional tent. Allows dogs. 

Both these sites are subject to availability and service fees. 

 Plz be mindful of quiet hours past 10pm and keeping tunes on down low


We welcome well behaved dogs with a few rules: plz don’t let pup on couches chairs and cushions, sweep up all hair and wipe/clean all paw prints in dome, and when outside plz don’t let pup run off or dig - plz fill all holes, pick up all poop. :)


Plz keep your visit to your campground, which is from the parking lot to the swings in a big circle, with the fire pit in the middle. Please don’t interact with our free roaming horses.

We ask people not to venture around the property both for our and other’s privacy as well as for liability purposes and such.


Nearby hiking and site seeing:

A. 2.5 miles away, long and pristine beaches of Ano Nuevo State Beach

B. Right in front of us: Historic Pigeon Pt Light House and beaches (south side is protected from wind)

C. In the town of Pescadero is Harley's goat Farm and fun shops/cafes etc 

D. Big Basin is a short drive away

F. Pick your own berries at Swanton OR Dahlias in Pescadero 

G. Barn Dance at Pie Ranch etc...

H. Cascade is Great/pricey restaurant at Costa Noa

I. Downtown Pescadero has a great taco place at gas station. Yummy artichoke soup and bread at Duarte’s and a great coffee shop as well as artisan shops and farmer stands.

The Sanctuary is surrounded by protected open space and to get to it you must travel a SHARED and private community gravel road with gates and horses - which you agree to travel at your own risk. For a happy hood, the safety of wildlife and to help us keep things thriving for the Rescues PLEASE go SLOW (12 MPH) and follow long but really important and helpful directions very, super duper carefully. 

Please keep hiking to local pristine nature walks that are close by at beautiful State Beaches and there lots of country charm and artisan attractions can be found in the quaint town of Pescadero.

This is a working ranch, we have free roaming rescued horses and our dogs may visit you. If you aren’t a fan of animals or wild life (you will see lots of bugs, frogs lizards, birds etc - PLEASE DON'T DISTURB) this might not be the place for you.  But if you love them, you will LOVE IT HERE! This is a healing, retreat and a Native American prayer site please obstain from loud electronic music, heavy intoxication on anything but Nature's Beauty. Silent Disco is welcome.

This is also an animal haven and sanctuary, plz ONLY HUMANELY RAISED AND HUMANELY SLAUGHTERED animal products!! Very important to us. Thank you! Thank you again, because of you we are able to offer forever homes to horse, llama, alpaca, sheep, donkey, rooster, chicken, goose, cat, dog etc.. people!!

This place is fantastic. Driving by the grazing horses on your way in sets the stage for this serene, beautiful land share. Montrese was there to greet us and walk us through the property. The wind screened fire pit area was stocked with dry wood, the kitchen was well supplied, and the RV was clean and comfortable. It got VERY windy at night so it was hard to light a fire, but we made do and had a wonderful time.

I brought my mom and aunt here for a ladies weekend of filled with campfires, stars and laughs, and we couldn't have picked a more perfect spot for exactly that. Every moment of this trip from driving down the beautiful coastal hwy 101 to bumping along the dirt road up to WildTender to being greeted by the radiant and full-hearted Montrese to being awoken with seven majestic horses grazing in our camp was a memory and unique moment in and of itself.

It was my mom's first time camping, so the RV at this camp was a perfect way for her to try sleeping outdoors and in nature while not having to worry about pitching a tent, staking a rainfly or sleeping on the ground. I don't know if it was a combination of the misty starry sky at night, the laughs we shared while channeling our girl scout days and trying to start a campfire or the delicious camp meal we cooked in the kitchenette, but she's now hooked and I couldn't be happier.

I plan to return here again (and I recommend you go here) for some peace and quiet, stunning ocean views and to soak in the positive energy seeping from every pore in the land.

Peaceful and healing. I couldn't ask for more from any stay as this was more than I expected on all levels. There was an abundance of space to roam, amazing views everywhere you looked, and more amenities than I was expecting. The RV, kitchenette, and fire pit made the stay feel luxurious and very easy. This is a perfect place to spend some quiet time outdoors where the only sounds are the crackling fire, frogs, and ocean. We didn't hear or see any other people, but were pleasantly surprised to have a couple dogs and several horses checking in on us. I would definitely return to this site.

What a wonderful place to take your children and their friends!. The RV is a perfect kid hideaway and there is ample room to stake a tent nearby so the grownups get some alone time. The cooking cottage was really helpful and has all the plates, cups, bowls etc. you would need. Just bring a frying pan. The best part, though, was meeting Montrese and her animal family. I highly recommend doing the "animal interaction" she facilitates-- the kids loved meeting the gentle horses and learning how to speak to them. There are also many other adorable rescued critters you will hug and scritch. This campsite is worth every dime and goes to a great cause, as well. Go here!

I am a bit reluctant to write this review because demand for this exceptional site will go through the roof; but in the interest of paying it forward, GO HERE! Montrese and Anders' secluded retreat is unparalleled. The serenity of the ocean views sets the tone for a perfect stay, and then the amenities make the whole experience extra comfortable. From the wind protector, fire wood, and kitchenette, to the cozy refuge of the RV with running water, you cannot beat WildTender Ranch. Do yourself a favor and spend a few nights supporting this incredible place.

WildTender Ranch is unbelievable. From the gorgeous drive down Highway 1 to the gently meandering paths through pastures of wild horses, lakes, rolling grassy hills and finally to your coastal perch above the Pacific Ocean - the entire experience felt like a dream. We went on one of the most stormy weekends of the year and even though we were sopped out in rain and fog the entire time, it was still magical, which tells you just how amazing this spot is. The entire weekend we felt at peace - the healing energy of this place is tangible. The RV was clean and cozy. We enjoyed playing games, reading and relaxing in the space. We slept incredibly well in the comfortable bed, and we had all the amenities we needed and appreciated the nice touches, like candles, extra lighting, coffee/tea, etc. We also loved using the kitchen which was also stocked with supplies and the basics (salt, pepper, oil, etc). The only challenge we encountered was running out of water on the RV, the lack of hot water for the shower and sink and feeling quite cold, but again, we were there on a uniquely stormy weekend and likely wouldn't have been bothered by the above in better conditions. Otherwise, it was a perfect weekend at a very special spot we felt lucky to enjoy. We can't wait to come back with better weather!

This is an amazing site! The little kitchenette and RV basically make it so you don't have to bring anything other than food to camp (should you want to). We ended up pitching a tent anyway, and there's plenty of room to do so. The wind break circle was really nice too, as it does tend to get breezy late in the afternoon.

In the mornings, you can peek out your tent and see the rescued horses grazing behind the RV. There's a sturdy swing set next to the site that is fun too.

Portapotty is very clean as far as portapotties go, probably because it appears to be serviced every week.

Be kind -- driver slowly in to avoid dusting the neighbors, and respect the land.

If you need a setting to make magic happen, Montrese has created it, and graciously made it available to you at an unbelievably low price. This place is not a camp ground, it's a ceremonial site. Whatever the ceremony is that you need in your life, you can create it in this breath-taking setting. I began a deep healing process there, listening to the ocean and 100 million tiny amber bells. Just as I was ready to leave, three horses came by to bid me safe journey. I'll always remember my time there with gratitude.
