We offer year round accommodations. Spring and summer are great times to take advantage of kayaking, rafting, paddle boarding or swimming in the family friendly warm waters of the Klamath. We are located on the most popular boating stretch of the Klamath River. Class II fun and splashy whitewater! Don't forget to stop and pick all the wonderful and plentiful blackberries along the way! Inflatable kayaks, small rafts and a kataraft are all available for rent.
Relax on our expansive lawn and have a picnic lunch, utilize our lawn games (corn hole, ladderball, badminton, croquet) or try a riverside game of horseshoes in our horseshoe pit.
Hunters will be hard pressed to find a better spot to base their camp. We are surrounded by endless miles of forest service mountains famous for hunting deer, bear, duck, and turkey. For the fishing enthusiast, we are in an ideal location to take advantage of the world famous Klamath River Salmon and Steelhead runs. Salmon run is typically best in October and the steelhead fishing is amazing from October through March. Have you ever caught 20 steelhead in a day? It is not uncommon on the Klamath!!

My wife and I stopped here for a few days on our way up to Oregon. It's down a long gravel road but worth the trip - secluded and right on the Klamath River. It was the perfect basecamp for us to explore Mt Shasta nearby. Maritza was a very gracious host and we loved the dogs, goats, chickens and turkeys!
The owner was extremely accommodating, always available to help with anything. The property was beautiful and right on the river. I would definitely recommend to anyone. The animals were all friendly and we loved the goats. Will definitely come back again.
Much needed family freedom
Wow! Maritza is a rock star host. She was warm, answered all of our questions with a smile and even shared her special kid toys with our children. Her gorgeous slice of heaven on the river was perfect for our family stay. My children were able to safely run free, explore, swim in the river and play in nature. We saw a bald eagle, snuggled her pooches, laughed at the mama turkey and her babies and learned how to talk with the local goats.
Access to her location in our 26' school bus was easy as the main road was maintained and not bumpy at all. It was a quick hour drive from our home in Ashland, OR and yet we felt like we were miles away.
Thanks Maritza for the wonderful stay! I highly recommend Wilde River Farm. We shall return soon, very soon!
Awesome private campground with private river access! We had a blast hanging out with the goats and checking out the chickens and turkey's. Maritza was very accommodating and made sure our stay was superb. She has two respectful, fun dogs that love the extra attention. Super happy we found this gem!
Beautiful private river front!
We had a fantastic stay at Wilde River Farm. We were camped out at the RV site near the house with full hookups for our small travel trailer. Despite the proximity to the main house it was quiet and felt very private due to the other campsites being down at the river (one on each end of the property).
Beautiful view of the river and huge green lawn for relaxing or playing with our dog. Our Golden Retriever Wall-E also loved the place and the host's two friendly dogs.
Easy access to the water with shallow kiddie (and dog!) friendly section! The goats on the property are very friendly and cute! Lovely half mile trail directly off the property along the river.
Very accommodating and friendly host, many thanks to John and Maritza! Highly recommended spot, all thumbs up!
Klamath river rv site
This was our final and favorite stop on a two week RV trip through NorCal, Oregon and Washington. We wished we had planned for more days at this riverfront oasis! The young family hosts were incredibly gracious and accommodating. Our kids loved the river as well as the goats and chickens!
A true gem!!
Maritza and John were the perfect hosts! They have an amazing spot right on the Klamath River which is perfect for cooling off and enjoying nature. There is even a “kiddie pool” made with some rocks. Set up some lounge chairs on the large grassy lawn and you couldn’t ask for a more perfect cocktail spot. The road there is a bit narrow in spots so it is recommended to communicate with Maritza in advance if you have a large RV. Might not be the best spot. But it’s the bomb for smaller RV’s and tent camping!
Long dirt road to a lovely hideaway
Our host was great, the grass was green and river accessible. Sadly, my sweet golden retriever killed one of her chickens. She was kind about it. I mention this to warn others. Hipcamp is a fun experience but don’t trust your beloved pet to be off leash until you’ve truly evaluated their behavior.
