Primitive doesn't begin to describe this site! Nice, friendly hosts, but their idea of a campsite is really different. I felt uncomfortable having a marajuana (medical permit noted) garden right next to our rv. Although he was told that we were pulling a 21-ft rv, he didn't taken into consideration that we were pulling it with a truck. Good thing we had 4-wheel drive...that driveway has rut about 9" deep...needs to be fixed yesterday! An adventure I don't care to repeat.....

Great location. Maybe 45 minutes from the Yosemite park entrance. The hosts, Brad and Tammy, are very nice and welcoming.

We loved our stay at Where the Pavement Ends. Brad and Tammy were very friendly and welcoming. It was so nice to have a tent and sleeping pads set up for us when we arrived. I would definitely like to camp here again!

This was a great place to rest before heading home after visiting Yosemite all day. The campsite is large and surrounded by plenty of tall trees. Brad and Tammy, the hosts, live on the property but their trailer was mostly out of view from camp. They provided us with two sleeping pads and a tent and we slept very comfortably at night (they charge $5/tent). We loved sitting in the hammock during the evening, too!
The road to the property is unpaved (dirt) and you will cross a shallow creek. We made it fine in a VW Rabbit (similar to a VW Golf), just remember to drive slow over bumpy and rocky areas!

Great, quiet and pretty spot. A hammock in just the right spot, beautiful stars, yosemite around the corner. Brad and Tammy are a treat!
