Come pitch a tent or park your RV/Trailer on our flat, spacious, 1-acre, front yard under the branches of an expansive beautiful Buckeye Tree and a seasonal creek (the creek is now running!). At night the "magical" tree is lit with hanging solar-lit mason jars and you can sit and relax in our Adirondack chairs around our propane campfire. Will will provide electric hook-up (via an extension cord), water (via a garden hose), and a picnic table. If you are not in a self-contained RV, we can provide a portable camping toilet with a privacy tent. We live in a small house on the property and we are happy to orient you and help you get settled.
Guests can enjoy lawn games such as boccie ball or corn-hole as well as a full-size trampoline. We also have additional "add-ons" where we can rent items such as bikes, an inflatable 3-person kayak, and an inflatable stand-up paddle board (SUP).
We are three miles from Samuel P. Taylor State Park, natural pools at the Inkwells, and miles of hiking. Our property is about 45 minutes from Marin County beaches (Stinson, Bolinas, Limantour), Tomales Bay, Hog Island Oysters, and Pt. Reyes National Seashore. In the opposite direction, we are three miles from Roy's Redwoods and seven miles from Nicasio Valley Cheese Company (plus a seasonal pumpkin patch).
This is an awesome location for relaxing on site or for being a hub for various day-trips in West Marin. Other local amenities include a coffee shop (w/a nice bathroom, 1-mile down the road), a market/deli/burrito shop, a farm stand with local produce, and an amazing Indian restaurant all within 2-miles from the site.
A well-behaved dog can stay as well but can not be left unattended. We have a friendly Mini-Golden Retriever that likes to greet everyone. Please note that while West Marin is mostly rural where many homes sit on large acres of land, we are still in a quite neighborhood setting. No loud parties, no smoking, no loud voices after 9:00 PM.

A fantastic escape into the headlands. Well situated to start a hike, and easy to grab dinner nearby in fairfax or point reyes. Jenelle was a great host, providing a table, chairs, water access, and recommendations for the area. The yard was perfectly flat, and there's nothing like camping under that glorious tree!

Amazing spot, Jenelle and Amy were super welcoming and had all the small details ready for us to spend a great time camping. It's close from the city but far enough to feel peaceful and quiet. We will definitely be back!

Thank you Miguel! You were wonderful guests and you and your family are welcome back anytime!
Our visit to the fairy tree was brief, but lovely. Friendly, welcoming host family made sure we were comfortable, and even greeted us with a sweet s’mores set up. We will definitely stay here again when we pass through. Thanks, Amy and Janelle!
We had a wonderful stay in the front yard acre of Janelle, Amy and their family. It was nice to be out of the city and hear wildlife such as coyotes, frogs, birds and racoons. We camped outside the beautiful magical tree and were able to use the amazing REI pop up tent bathroom. Although we only stayed 1 night, Amy & Janelle offered a cute smores kit and opportunity to use thier propane fire pit. This amazing site is located in a residential family focused area, with lots of space between other homes, to offer perfect social distancing. We appreciate the vibes that Janelle & Amy bring to their property, as well as being open and generous.
Thank you!
This place is beyond beautiful. Jannelle, Amy and their family were welcoming, had great advice and made our stay even more enjoyable. The place is just perfect and charming. Everything is perfectly set up and ready. They provide everything you could possibly need to make your stay wonderful. It was just ideal.

Thank you for your kind review. We truly loved hosting you and your family. It gave us much joy to see you all jumping on the trampoline, giggles and all! You are welcome back anytime!
This is a lovely site on a beautiful property where the the very gracious hosts live. They went out of their way to welcome us. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends.
It was wonderful to stay here! Janelle and Amy were very welcoming and hospitable :). And their dog Orvis was also an excellent member of the welcoming committee! It is a beautiful place and very close to many wonderful hikes.
We had a fun weekend at Jenelle’s place! We arrived after sunset and Amy gave us a great tour of the place and explained in detail how everything works. It’s a beautiful site to camp on and we loved waking up to a view of the large tree and sound of the birds. Their dog and the trampoline definitely upped the fun factor!! Would stay here again!
Jenelle and Amy were wonderful! Very welcoming and accommodating and we felt very safe staying with them.
