Awesome location, great hosts
Lori has 3 camping spots and a very cool glamping tent available by the night. We chose the spot nearest to the drive in due to needing a level-ish area for our airstream. Lori has created 3 separate areas, you can pitch a tent, drive a bus in or park an RV, each spot is in its own area and nobody bothers you. Lori did a cool
Welcome tour of the area to include goats, chickens, pigs and peacocks to name a few that live here. There are no hook ups here but Lori and her husband were super happy to help with water for our tank and while they don’t have an open door policy to their house the grounds and farm are open to all, Lori is quick to answer a text and was always happy to help. $65 might seem a lot to some for a parking spot but the views are stunning, the ambiance amazing (awesome sunset and sunrise) and Lori and family are super helpful. Well
Worth the drive and the cost.
If your into hiking this is an ideal spot to explore the San Diego River Valley. Stock up on food and goodies in Ramona and enjoy.
Westerbilly Ranch was everything we could have hoped for. Lori was a great host. There was tons of room for the kids to roam around and as a bonus they had goats, horses, and pigs that the kids were able to see. There were private hiking trails that led to beautiful views.
This place was fantastic! Lori was very hospitable and extremely friendly. When I experienced an issue with. my RV, her husband came out in the dark and spent time with me diagnosing the issue, helping me find the solution and offered to go into town for me to get what was needed for the repair. To me, as a single camper on my own, this gesture made me feel safe and protected...I couldn't have asked for a better first hipcamp experience.
We had a fantastic time at the Websterbilly Ranch! Gorgeous views, especially magic at sunset! Lori is an amazing host, she gave us lots of options to fulfill all our wishes. She introduced us to her animals and my son was trilled to be able to feed them in the evening and in the morning. The fresh hen egg he got from Lori, ''was the best egg he has ever had'' :). Thanks so much for a fun weekend!
Such a nice spot! We were very grateful to get out of town for a couple of days given all of the Corona madness. Lori was super helpful despite practice social distancing. We felt very comfortable there and had beautiful views in site 3.
Westerbilly remote get away
Lori was a great host! Very welcoming and thoughtful in the camp set up. Animals are fun to see. She gave us eggs from her chickens. Site was big and clean. Most amazing and beautiful views. Totally secluded and quiet area. Great bathroom set up; very cute. Nice shower too but on colder side because of a lack of sun. Would highly recommend.
This was my first time using the Hipcamp
App, due to Lori being such an amazing host it highly exceeded expectations. She Made the process very easy and comfortable for us. The camp sites were as advertised and the views were amazing. Highly recommend this place to everyone.
Great quarantine escape...
Loved staying here, but the Quarantine left us with little options. It was hot, but Lori gave us her Easy Up canopy so we could gain a bit more shade. The animals were awesome and we loved hearing the Peacock calling out. We were not able to pet them, but they let us feed the horse and we all had a great time.
Many thanks to Lori and family.
