Great accommodations and communication from Lori. The site is private and scenic, even with every space booked for our first night. We did get a surprise from the peafowl calling once during the night, but they were otherwise considerate.

We had some technical difficulties and didn't arrive until well past dark, so we didn't realize how amazing our views were until morning! Beautiful spot, incredibly quiet, and if you have a telescope you're going to want to bring it, or at least sit out and marvel at the sky if you can. We'll definitely be back again!
Southern California has occasional bouts of wind events, which was happening the night we stayed, and Lori reached out to let us know and refund our fire pit rental (not only a bad idea in that wind, but it was too uncomfortable to sit out anyway), and tentatively cancel our experience with Sebastian though we were able to do it in the morning when it was calmer.
While there's clearly some great hiking available, if you're more of a stroll-er there's lots of easily-walkable dirt road and paths to walk around for views without too much elevation change or rough ground.
I'd suggest the hosts stake more reflectors along their driveway and on the paths to the sites, and maybe put up site signs that are reflective, because of geniuses like us who are running 6 hours late, but it's easy to follow their directions in the daytime.

Views are worth it.
Views are worth it. Back in off the pavement. Plenty of room. We will be back. I don’t know whether the sunrise or sunsets are better.

Unexpected delight!
This was our first Hipcamp experience, and now the bar is set pretty high. It was everything we were hoping for and more. The views are amazing, lots of stars. Loved the quirky touches everywhere. Dwight was super friendly. We will definitely be coming back!
