Alan and his beautiful ranch have us an amazing experience. we came with expectations of camping (sleeping in a tent, cooking outdoors and campfire) and Alan gave us so much more. the ranch is beautifully located remotely in a large 100 acre plot of land where there are cows roaming, llamas, chickens, peacocks, horses, and the sweetest dogs you could ever meet. Alan expresses gratitude to us for coming but we will be eternally grateful for the beautiful, once in a lifetime experience we had. Thank you Alan!
Allen was a wonderful host! We are so grateful he was willing to share his farm with us. There are so much wonderful animals to enjoy.
The camp site is well shaded, which is great in the Manteca heat. The bathroom is clean and well maintained. The camp site has green grass! A real rarity in Northern California.
I am absolutely coming back to this place! My kids loves it!
Alan has build a beautiful ranch in a beautiful place. He is a very caring host and will try to make your visit better then you would expect. The ranch is almost like a zoo, that how many different animal are there. If you have more time than I had, you can grab a canoe and do a little boatride on the lake next to his house. Would definitely recommend and would love to have stayed longer than I did!
My stay at WaldenRanch was an amazing experience. The farm is huge and beautiful and full of animals. Alan is a kind and gracious host and I had a great time learning about the farm with him. I will definitely be visiting again!

Beautiful farm! It was so great I stayed extra nights. Here are some photos of the cows, llamas, dogs, peacocks, horses, fruit orchard, sunsets, shady grove etc.

We loved our stay! It is just a beautiful and well kept private ranch. It is just you and all the wonderful animals in the farm. I will definitely come back here! Alan was just an amazing host.

Nicely shaded camping grounds. Lots of grass & Trees. Many picnic tables available, fresh water sink, couple canoes to go in the lake.
Super friendly dogs, chicken, peacocks, & Llamas.
Alan came out to say hi. He is very friendly and nice guy.
If you are looking for a rustic, jungle like, forest camping experience, this is the place. Alan was very laid back, he welcomed us and told us to have fun and that's pretty much it. There is water, 2 toilets that were clean and electricity if ever you need it. His 5 dogs will also welcome you. I would go come back again.
