Coastal Cabin Mini Retreat is AWESOME!!!!!!! Such an awesome spot to stop in northern California, it's literally right on the coast in a very unique area that's surrounded by water on all sides. Brittny was a really fun host, and the space was very unique. Highlights included:
-Sauna/soaking tub built by Brittny's husband who is a native Alaskan. So nice to use in the morning and night!
-Close walk to the beach
-Nearby brewery - Lost Coast Brewing Co
-Geodesic dome, cool spot to hang/meditate
-Kitchen to cook meals in
-Outdoor area to drink coffee and enjoy
Great place to stop on a road trip - you can't beat this location. Period.
This was the perfect stop for us on our way down the coast from Oregon to San Francisco. Tucked away from the town, and walking distance to the ocean. I'm not sure you'd want to leave though, because there is a SAUNA on the property, and Japanese soaking tub. We stayed in one of the mini cabins and they are SO awesome, and unique. I was filled with even more joy when I walked in, and Seinfeld was playing on the little television in the room.
Brittny said that her husband is working on a second sauna with a skylight, which I would love to come back and see when it's done. There's a really awesome and unique outdoor seating space on the way to the Geodesic dome that she uses for yoga, and physical healing. Ask Brittny about the yoga events (on Thurs?) and other happenings in the area - Lost Coast Brewery is a 10-minute drive from her property.
Their property is filled with love, knick-knacks, good vibes, and gooseberries!!! I would love to visit again!
coastal cabin mini retreat is right on the beach basically! on an island right near the ocean and has many little cute cabins you can stay at or pitch your tent under some palm trees! The host Brittny also offers massages and yoga on site!
My partner and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Coastal Cabin Mini Retreat! The beach was just minutes away over the hill, and we took a stroll along the coast each morning. In the evening, we took advantage of the on-site sauna. The spot was located between Arcata and Eureka, allowing us to quickly access both towns, and of course, it is also close to the amazing nature that makes the North Coast a prime spot for visiting. We would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.
My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Brittny's little cabin. We especially enjoyed the sauna & tub, of course, and being just steps away from the ocean. Brittny was incredibly kind and hospitable, and the other cabin renters we met were extremely friendly. Everyone was respectful and independent, and for the most part kept to themselves.
The cabin was a joyful little oasis, situated just far enough away from Arcata and Eureka to be an escape, but close enough for an easy commute. I recommend cooking meals at the cabins, driving around to different beaches and trails, and going bowling at the bowling alley in Eureka!
Thanks Brittny for a wonderful stay!
