Trinity cabin is elegant in its simplicity. It measures, 16 x 20 and is a  studio cabin that offers more privacy as it's the last in the row of 3 cabins.  Majestic covered porches on the front and back invite relaxing amongst the trees. Arapaho meadow is in front with trailheads to wander across the private 200 acres.

The kitchen is equipped with small counter kitchen featuring a stainless mini- refrigerator,  2 burner propane camp stove,  cookware, dishes, silver ware for 4,  and minimal other kitchen items. It does not have indoor plumbing. Showers and flush toilet at Bathhouse in  main house. Clean 2 stall outhouse nearby cabins.

Queen LOG BED is perfect for 2 and there is a smaller fold out futon good for a child.

We now have by the 3 cabins a shared group picnic area with a large charcoal BBQ, a massive 16 foot slab table, a fire pit and misc. chairs for family gathering and group workshops. We allow one armful of campfire wood but thereafter we charge $10. per load via the honor system.

Weber grill is available , you bring the charcoal!

The woodstove provides ample heat  and there are wide windows that offer tree views.  This cabin is not winterized yet but visitors could stay warm even in snowy winter if they tend the fire and place ample firewood in the wood stove. Ample firewood provided. We recommend 4 wheel drive vehicles in winter. It takes us typically 1-2 days to plow our 1.5 mile gravel rd. down off the county maintained Cruzon Grade rd. Cruzon grade is paved and county plowed many times each day when the snow is flying.

There is a small bridge nearby across a seasonal creek. Walk 50 feet and there is a grassy meadow, called Arapaho, surrounded by both young and growth trees. This meadow is also seen from the front porch.

Plan on cozy fire time, reconnecting, hiking, star gazing, journaling, serenading birds and possible magical encounters.

Walking this 200 acre eco-preserve is exhilarating and harmonizing to body, mind and spirit.  If this cabin is reserved check out our larger Geronimo Cabin, or our Shamballa Cabin.

This land is inviting, private, and resides on a large developing Retreat space. We have an extensive trail system here which is partially in place with marked trails. A trail map is in development. Surrounded by thousands of areas of the Tahoe National Forest. A mere 5 miles from Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park with miles of further hiking.

Write me for a weather link which is helpful for this 4000 foot elevation property.

WIFI is available outside in front of some cabins which works from approx. 7 am to 10 pm and then we shut the system off.  There are WIFI stations available closer to the source by the main house which many use as well.

dogs and pets are $15 per nite

Adam and Lisa have created the most gorgeous cabins in the forest, overlooking a meadow. Quiet with lots of beautiful hiking around. Perfect for a peaceful getaway.

We had a wonderful weekend at Trinity Cabin! Adam the host was a kind a gracious host. The three cabins on the property are just down from his main house. Trinity was the first built and slightly smaller than the other two but was a perfect fit for us. We explored his property in each direction as the trails start right outside the cabin! There is a general store, waterfall hiking, and so much to explore in any direction. Can't wait to see what Adam does with the area as time goes on. Hope to be back soon!

This was an amazing experience and an amazing site. We were in the most rustic of the three cabins, but we still felt like we were in a wilderness resort. We loved turning off the internet for a few days, lighting the pot belly stove, and hiking all over the property. Our host was amazing and the facilities were perfect. Thanks Adam!!

Thank you kindly Amanda for you and your family visit and your presence here. children always leave a special mark as tuned in as they are. I also like your suggestion of a trail from the back of Trinity cabin directly to the outhouse. It will take a little work and some trail building but it could turn out well. do come again and often. enjoy, Adam

Fantastic place! Love the little rustic cabins with the old-style wood burning stoves to keep it toasty at night. Beautiful and secluded forested area.

What a magical retreat Adam is running. My 2 year old and I stayed in a cozy cabin on beautiful land, we felt totally snug. It was a pleasure to meet our host and see his gorgeous property, it's a little farther from town than I expected but the drive is beautiful and getting there was part of the fun for us. It was incredible to feel the nature and space around us. Thanks for everything!

We booked Trinity Cabin as a low key way to celebrate my wife's birthday. We are both really happy with our stay. The cabin was adequately clean and comfortable. Ample fire wood was made available for the wood fire stove. The kitchen ware available was a nice convenience. And Adam, the host, seems like a great guy. He checked in on us shortly after our arrival and gave us the lay of the land, including area trails to explore.

The one thing that would improve the experience, in my opinion, is individual fire pits at each cabin. There is a communal fire pit near the cabins which is great but if you are looking for a more private camp fire experience, the wood stove in the cabin is your only option. That said, I guess there are a lot less mosquitoes inside than outside.

We had a great time at Trinity Cabin and would highly recommend Adam and his property to others.
