My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Shamballa cabin. We wanted a getaway that was quiet, immersed in the forest, comfortable and had access to wifi if we needed it. The Shamballa ticked all of those boxes.

There are three cabins total, but we felt secluded and private. There is a clean outhouse as well as access to a flushing toilet and a hot shower at the main house which we appreciated.

The property is very peaceful, we were able to fully relax and felt safe and comfortable. The cabin was very spacious and it stayed cool, which was wonderful in the middle of July. I imagine it being warm and cozy in the winter time. The bed was super comfortable which is a great bonus! The Shamballa is still under some construction, but that didn't have a negative effect on us at all, it will be even nicer and more spacious once completed.

We definitely plan on returning for a forest retreat again soon. Thank you Adam!

Thank you kindly Midhun for such a fire review. We have put our hearts and souls into creating a sanctuary and retreat center. To walk the land and enjoy the natural beauty is very healing and catching a glimpse of a wild fox, deer or bobcat is always inspiring. Do come again - we look forward to it. Adam

I actually stayed at Shambala Cabin, and it was wonderful.. Abundant fire wood, gorgeous craftsmanship, and a pristine forest that I was surrounded in. I felt safe, I felt like I had the opportunity to unplug from the world, and Adam was gracious. He checked in on me and let me know if I needed anything to knock on the main house door. A perfect host. Highly recommend staying here.. The only thing I'd say is come expecting to take short, hot showers. I didn't want to much but the time I did attempt them I had hot water very briefly. Otherwise everything was a homerun, and when that's the case- who cares about the shower!

Thank you Brandon for your kind review. Much has gone into the cabins to resonate into the wilderness quality of this retreat land and we do all we can to honor this. The shower need to stay on for up to 3-5 minutes for the water to get hot as it an on-demand hot water heater, one of the most efficient on the market. But it takes time to get to the guest shower and also our home shower. yesterday when I toke one I was also getting impatient but then it got too hot and I had to lower the temp. all in all, glad u had a chance to visit and do come again

The cabin was delightful - very spacious, and on a property with tons of wildlife and spaces to amble around. The highlight was walking to the " Big Meadow" and seeing birds at dusk. The space felt private and very quiet, especially with the back deck, but do note that the cabins are nestled next to each other.

Thanks for visiting Nadine and glad you enjoyed yourselves. The most secluded cabin as you might know now is Serenity a fav among many. Do come again.

We rented Trinity, Serenity, and Shamballa for a family cabin trip. This review is for Shamballa - which served as our gathering spot. The gas stove, sink with running hot / cold water, and large communal area was perfect for us. We made all our meals here, and would eat outside by the campfire, on the deck, or inside (when we didn't want to mess around with the mosquitos).

The property is pretty great though there was a small problem when we arrived. We had been booked for Shamballa cabin which had a full kitchen but it was already occupied so we were moved to Serenity Cabin which does NOT have running water or a full kitchen. It is very private and so was perfect for our dog to run free. None of the cabins have indoor toilets so you can either use the outhouse (vault toilets) pretty clean, or the guest bathouse (not so clean)
