One of my best glamping experience. I wish we could have stayed longer. I enjoyed scenery and site is very beautiful especially if you love taking pictures. All friends have been asking where this is at. This is definitely worth a long drive
We all agreed that the location was amazing and all the details were handled with excellent taste. However, I do have a complaint to register: the first and only thing I requested on hipcamp and my text to the host was no perfumes. Our allergy to chemicals and need for fresh air were why we looked for campsites over hotels in the first place. Unfortunately, both the tent and Zeppelin airstream were so heavily chemically perfumed that my mother and I could not sleep at all. The Zeppelin a/c seemed to spew so much fragrance - instead of cold air - that our clothes and bags stilled smelled of it the next day. For an $80 cleaning fee per accommodation, I respectfully submit that the host should have done more to honor our one very crucial and simple request. As an added note, when we did manage to fall asleep, our slumber was interrupted at 8 am when the neighbor’s leaf blowers started and continued for quiet a while. For the enjoyment of your future guests, the host should make the effort to arrange a more guest-friendly lawn maintenance schedule with the neighbor. This was not the tranquil rest we hoped for based on the ad.
Beautiful glamping stay!
We loved our stay here. It was beautiful and accurately described on Hipcamp. Even though we didn’t meet the host, he was very responsive and timely to our questions. Windwood was so dog and family friendly also. We will definitely stay here in future drives down south and would love to check out the teepees or sweet looking trailers.
Super awesome! would come back
It was such a wonderful stay. My husband and I wished we could have stayed longer but super lucky we even got a site :)
Side note: maybe add a wine opener in the communal area for those that forget to bring one lol
