We are just a short drive from the Marine Base, Joshua Tree National Park, as well as a central location to access Wonder Valley, the city of Twentynine Palms, the Mojave Desert National Preserve, Yucca Valley, as well as the outlining areas such as Morongo Valley (Big Morongo Preserve, Sand to Snow National Monument), Pioneertown, Amboy Road/Amboy, Johnson Valley and all of the ORV fun out there!

There's a canyon wash a short hike away with marvelous views and rugged-style hiking. ATV trails, off road trails and really nice drives in a simple car.

Lots of local shopping, swap meets, antiques and thrift stores nearby!

Guest access

Guests have access to the RV camper, the entire lot, deck, front yard with fire pit and the outside shower. We supply a small BBQ, and all of the necessities for cooking.

Interaction with guests

We are always available in some capacity. When we are not home our neighbor/caretaker is available.

The neighborhood

Sparse population, safe and neighbors nearby. Nice desert views, amazing sunsets and sunrises.

You enjoy the solitude and comfort knowing that people are close.

Getting around

No nearby public transportation. The closest bus stop is more than 4 miles away.

There are plenty of taxi-cab companies.

Other things to note

The desert gets very hot in the summer. Even with an A/C is still can be very uncomfortable. In the winter the desert can also get very cold. Pack according. Expect that if it rains, the rain can cause flash flooding. We have wind storms that give us near-gale force winds. Sometimes gusting beyond 60mph! Always check your weather app! High-weather conditions can mean no outside shower.

The desert is full of critters like scorpions, rattle snakes, coyotes, desert tortoises, and even wild dogs and mountain lions. Practice caution and always wear shoes.

Since the desert is prone to high winds and dust storms. Keep windows closed during these storms.

In the main house's yard, there are blooming bladderpods. These attract bees! The bees are not aggressive and are far enough away from the camper not to be pests. BOLO!
