We're an organic farm homestead. Springtime sees the field lush and green from the rains! Summer is hot and dry, but the cool evening breeze is nice.  We have Red-tailed Hawks at their nest, hummingbirds, songbirds, and our own quail, chickens, turkeys and ducks to mingle with.

Campsite "Party Tree" is a large shaded area near the FRONT of the property with room for up to 2 or 3 small tents or 2 large tents (up to 8 people), has fire ring and picnic table. It is near our house, and there is a bit of road noise, so if you want a quieter, more private setting, or if you need a lot of space for more people, please look at our other listing, "Oat Prairie at Eyrie Farm," which is our open back pasture with 3 campsites.

We require you to sign our safety-and-acknowledgement waiver upon arrival.

Our SECURITY DOG patrols at night and protects our flock from predators. IF YOU'RE NOT OK WITH DOGS, THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR YOU!

We have coyotes nearly every night.

It's your responsibility as campers to be aware of our policies, including all rules and cancellation policy. These are FIRM.

Every person -- adults and kids of ALL ages -- count toward party size. Children are not free. If you have MORE THAN 2 people, click the "+" at the booking box to add them.

No RVs, trailers, or campers. No exceptions. Truck pop-up tents are fine.

Additional cars after the first 2 are charged $10 each. Carpool when possible!

NO PETS. We also cannot allow assistance animals due to allergy, health and safety issues for ourselves and our own animals, as well as the assistance animal's own safety.

I NEED YOUR ETA by the MORNING of check in. No ETA => I might not be available, and you'll have to wait. Check in ENDS at 9pm. Late arrivals after 9pm will be charged $10 for inconvenience. Absolutely NO ADMITTANCE AFTER 10pm. No refunds. Once checked in you can come and go as you please.

Don't trust Google/GPS, it's WRONG! Once you get on our road you must LOOK for our number and signage on the LEFT side of the road (you'll receive address in your booking confirmation). Make sure you go to "Eyrie Farm" and no other place! It's just not cool to show up at our neighbor's place instead. Best to arrive BEFORE SUNDOWN, as it's easier to find.

This is such a quaint site!!! Our hosts were so kind, and gave us a tour of their farm and animals. A flock of chickens that ran free were so friendly too! Anna plays harp and was kind enough to bring hers out and give a delightful little concert! Whenever I'm back in the area I'll definitely come back here!!

My family (3 adults and 2 smaller kids) and I stayed with Anna and Joe during Spring break 2018. Anna and Joe were both very nice, super responsive, and accommodating to requests during our stay. Anna answered about a million questions from the kids! Castor the turkey was great and visited us often. Their dog Skylar takes a little to warm up, but she's friendly once she gets to know you better. The farm is a lovely space with an abundance of animal sounds to give you the full vibe, but it's not overly noisy. The road by the farm does get some car traffic, so be aware. Warm waffles and fresh scrambled eggs in the morning were wonderful and definitely appreciated! Thanks again for a lovely stay!!

I really enjoyed my one night camp-out on the farm. It was a refreshing change to do something different and John and Anna seem really keen to share their lifestyle with people. I know they are on a wonderful journey and the farm will just get better and better. I definitely recommend staying here.

My boyfriend and I stayed here and had a great time. The location is great! Its super close to many of Ramona's local wineries (we went to three). They have a great pepper tree to pitch your tent under and the birds provide ample entertainment. Anna and her husband were even kind enough to provide us with waffles and eggs in the morning. This was a great alternative camping spot.

My girlfriend and I had a great time at Eyrie Farm! It was so fun being around all of the animals! Some of our favorites were Romeo (the horse) and Castor the turkey (which my girlfriend named George Washington lol). The spot was nice and the weather was pretty sweet too. Thank you so much Anna and John! We look forward to coming back.

Cute and full of animals, close to lots of wineries. You do have to sign a waiver, which we didn’t know.

Response from Anna, the Host, on April 9th, 2018

Thank you Jenna. If I remember correctly, you were the first party we had sign waivers. We learn as we go, and now it says clearly in our rules and description about the waiver.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time camping on Anna's farm. It was wonderful getting to know the chickens, the dog Skyler, the horse Romeo and especially the male turkey, Castor: the friendliest turkey on Earth. No wonder Benjamin Franklin wanted Turkey's as our national bird. We paid extra for breakfast (only $3 per person) and were treated to fresh coffee, waffles and farm eggs. The color of the eggs was out of this world! We would gladly recommend this spot in a heartbeat and will definitely be back.

Anna and John were extremely welcoming when we arrived and helped us settle in. We had a wonderful dinner and built a fire that night. John and Anna both came out and shared some smores with us, such a delight! The stars from their farm were beautiful, just as expected, and it was a dream to get away from the city. My fiance and I enjoyed learning about the farm and all the food being grown. Castor the turkey was also a favorite, who knew turkeys could be such friendly animals! The next day we took a trip to one of the wineries and went to hike Iron Mountain. We would recommend this place to anyone! Looking forward to going back to Ramona some time!

Very nice hosts with so many different animals to see on the property. The farm fresh breakfast was the BEST and plenty of wineries to visit in the area. Craster the turkey became a good friend.
