Places to see near The Desert Rose Collective
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Rosemarie was more than helpful upon arrival. I stayed in Tent #1 adjacent to Tent #2. The tent consists of a comfy queen size bed, a coffee table and a fan/heater. Sweet and Simple. Bedding and towels are provided although I did bring my own blankets for extra warmth. The common area is quite large and includes plenty of seating, a fire pit, a bar area and a small outdoor kitchen. This is a great option for people that want a bit more comfort than a typical tent can provide! Desert Rose Collective is a great place for a romantic getaway, a solo retreat, or even a large group event. It’s proximity to Joshua Tree and my personal favorite local spot Pappy and Harriets is a 10/10. I would and hope to stay here again!
Cozy glamping next to joshua tree
I had a fantastic stay at Coyote Flats. The tent was super cute and cozy, and kept me warm and toasty when temperatures dropped to freezing overnight. The camp itself is really beautiful and well-kept, too, and there are tons of thoughtful touches everywhere. Rose was a great host, and I really enjoyed chatting with her during my stay! The drive to the national park from the camp was ~30 minutes and scenic, and I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Joshua Tree!
Camp site full of love
We was late to check in due to heavy traffic (I'm from LA) and Rose was there waiting with a warm welcome when we arrive.
The night we stays were so windy and cold, luckily camp site have running hot water and nice fire place to keep us warm, also heater inside the tent to make sure we have a good sleep.
It have a very nice bar area as well, feel like a hang out point which makes me and my girlfriend enjoy so much, we need to invite our friend back again.
The kitchen area is very nice too, Rose got everything ready even spices which makes camper a lot easier.
Highly recommended to everyone!!!
The desert rose collective was a great and comfortable place to stay. Rose has done a lot with the space and her investment is obvious once you step foot onsite. Very accommodating, highly recommend.
This place is awesome
This place was awesome and extremely cozy. Upon arrival, Rosemarie greeted us and showed us around the property- making us feel at home. It had all the amenities you could ever need, plus the bed and tent were super cozy. The highlights were waking up to a nice view of the mountain through the tent window, the funky and well designed bar area, walking around the large property and discovering different areas, plus the large fire pit where we made s’mores/memories! Thank you Rosemarie- we can’t wait to come back and see what astonishing project you complete next with the property.
The nicest host ever!
Rosemarie is simply the best! If you are looking for a campsite where you will be welcomed with kindness, you have gone to the right place. She was nothing but sweet and did everything she could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We stayed in the yurts which were very well kept and even had little hand sanitizers and towels laid out. The campsite is super unique in that there are other places to camp on her property -- it is almost like a little community with a shared kitchen and fire pit area. Rosemarie's thoughtfulness is truly what makes this place special!
We had a great experience here! We rented the tent cabins with some friends. We were originally worried about having all the supplies we needed but with a fully stocked mess-hall, two refrigerators and plenty of seating/lounging areas we were more than taken care of. We got to meet all the other campers in the communal area and everyone was incredibly chill. I would absolutely stay here again.
Wonderfully quiet camping site
We came across The Desert Rose Collective by accident but it was a happy accident. The cabin tent as awesome. It was so nice to go camping and not have to put up a tent, we will definitely be coming back. Rosemarie and her assistant Brenda were both friendly and showed us everything we needed to know. Rosemaire has everything you need to "camp" even if you don't have any camping stuff. All you have to do is show up with your clothes and food and you can camp.
