Ed and Susan's space was such a joy to stay at! We ended up renting out the entire property (House, RV, and tent sites) because of our group size, and it was perfect and comfortable for all. The area is quiet and gorgeous, with short trails around the property for different views of the desert. Truly amazing! Ed met us at the gate and gave us a full tour of this beautiful property. The house and RV were perfectly clean and had everything we could have needed. Ed was so kind and communicative the entirety of our planning and stay. He even supplied us firewood for the pits, which we enjoyed sitting around while looking at the giant night sky. Susan also left us a jar of delicious homemade mulberry jam! We went to grab a loaf of bread so that we could all have some for breakfast. It was a really lovely way to wrap up our stay. We look forward to recommending this listing to all our friends and also to coming back again ourselves on our next desert trip!
Had a very excellent stay in the RV. The site is very well designed, great fire ring, and a walking path through native landscaping that leads to two chairs overlooking the desert. While the house, RV and tent site are all within shouting distance and a fire ring is between there, there is also a fire ring down the hill if you want a more secluded experience.
We are pseudo-cyclists (ebikes!) and the 7.9 mile ride into town (Yucca Valley) was super fun: soft hills and most of the stretch has bike lanes. This area is super close to Pioneertown (we saw a show at Pappy & Harriet’s, very memorable!) and Joshua Tree town/National Park. Also, there is Uber service should you require it!
