We had a fantastic time staying in the Avion! Kerri was the perfect host providing everything we might need. The location is stunning as is the trailer. Highly reccomend checking this place out. Will be sharing with friends and hope to come back again next year for a longer stay!
An amazing place to unwind...
Kerri and Jared love their place and not to be overly mushy, but love is exactly what you feel when you step on the property. It's truly the perfect place to hide from the hustle and bustle of city life, but If you don't want total seclusion there is social activities not far away. Kerri and Jared are welcoming, kind and attentive without being overbearing... perfect hosts. The best part is the welcome party consisting of their awesome dogs; Max, Lola and Bear they instantly make you feel like you're exactly where you supposed to be. Kerri and Jared give you everything to make you feel at home, spot on directions and instructions for the use of the trailer makes everything painless. It's an amazing place. Go see for yourself, but don't stay too long... I'm going back.
Sunset hideaway was just charming! The vintage trailer has a lot of character and is thoughtfully decorated. It has been well maintained, every thing was fully operational. It was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, spices, and even gramcrackers, chocolate and marshmallows for smores! Kerri also left us fresh eggs from the hen coop!
Kerri was very personable and helpful. She left us firewood and brought us more later in evening.
The views of Temecula were beautiful and you can catch a beautiful sunset from the campsite. Easy access to wine country and old town Temecula.
Everything about this place went beyond my expectations. We had such a wonderful and peaceful time. There’s plenty to enjoy! Kerri was very helpful during our stay. We can’t wait to be back!
Very cute vintage trailer. Extremely private, beautiful Mountain View’s, and all the amenities as advertised. Kerri was an awesome host - communication with her was fast and open which made our quick turn-around stay very easy and efficient. Their property is beautiful, and their dogs made us feel even more at home. Thanks for the stay!!
Perfect getaway from the city
Hosts: Kerri and Jared were beyond welcoming. Kerri was the one we were messaging with and was great to communicate with, she wasn't there during our stay but her husband Jared was there. Jared was just as wonderful and so helpful when we had questions. There's a notebook inside the trailer full of instructions and tips but they are always on hand if you need anything.
Getting there: Drive up the mountain was fairly easy - Kerri sends very clear directions once gps can no longer guide you. Once you get closer to their property the road does turn into gravel dirt and is bumpy and can be steep for low clearance vehicles.
The property: The trailer sits on I believe 40 acres with sweeping views of mountains on one side and the city on the other - it's breathtaking. There are trails everywhere where you can freely walk with your dog unleashed (yes dogs allowed here!). There is a vegetable garden and chicken coop, both which they encourage you to help yourself with. There is an outdoor fire pit which they provide you with wood and a stock tank pool to cool off in for those warm days.
The Trailer: So cozy perfect. It's fully off grid and powered by solar so there is running electricity AND water, cold and hot. There is a fully stocked kitchen, working stove and a refrigerator. There is also a bathroom with sink, shower and compost toilet. The bed is super comfy and there is also a sofa for additional sleeping area.
We can't say enough good things about this place. One night was too short for us. This trailer is perfect for those that want to be in nature but don't feel like full on camping. The nights are so peaceful, the starry skies take you elsewhere and during the day you just want to soak in all the beauty. We definitely plan on escaping here again.
We had an amazing time at Sunset Hideaway. Loved that it was so close to Temecula yet you still felt like you were secluded. The kids (teens & preteens) loved the chickens and the dogs. We loved that they could safely wander around the property and explore. The view is incredible! We went on the 4th of July and were able to see the fireworks in Temecula.
We rented the trailer and the casita. We had a group of 7 (the teen boys slept in a tent).
They have everything you need - fire pit, blankets, comfortable beds, kitchen gear, seating, fresh eggs, games. It was the perfect balance of "roughing it" while still having some comforts.
The owners were awesome as well. Super responsive to any questions we had but also gave us our privacy - you would never know they are tucked away on the property.
