Pitch your tent or park your RV on our private mountain!! Gorgeous 360 degree views of the Northern Sierras, the Crystal Range above Lake Tahoe, the Sierra foothills, the Central Valley, and the intercoastal mountains! Sugarloaf Mountain has a large oak forest and wide meadows full of at least 43 species of wildflowers. Absolutely stunning sunsets and sunrises!! See deer, hawks, turkeys, rabbits and owls. The site is 32 acres, with a nice gravel road to the top and hiking trails around the top, middle and base. Not really suitable for RVs over 27 feet. This is true car or RV camping with no water, fires or other services - just a beautiful spot to get away from it all.

Sugarloaf Mountain was quite and had a nice view. We stayed there for one night and would stay there for again.

Good directions easy to understand. A really cool area. Felt like an English meadow with some deer running about which made us feel at home.
