Kayaking into a quiet cove sound like your kind of adventure? If so, you need Tule Campground in your life. Tucked in the Sierra Nevada foothills at Success Lake, this campground offers the perfect getaway for a summer vacay or spring break. Bring your hat and an Easy-Up, as some sites offer minimal shade. When you’re done making a wildflower bouquet out of the landscape, try your hand at fishing. Inhabitants of the lake include catfish, bass, bluegill, and trout. We guess you can say fishing at this place is ON the hook.

Picture is definitely way off on the actual location. It's typically dry and lower elevation. No forest scenery.

Tule was an amazing spot to camp halfway from Los Angeles to Sequoia! We had an airstream and arrived relatively late. We were able to pay the iron ranger and stay easily through the night. Morning views were amazing! The water level of the lake is quite low so I'm not sure that the water activities are relevant here!
