We chose this spot primarily for proximity. Allows for a nice last minute trip close to town. The farm is small with an eclectic variety of animals. Great for kids. I wouldn’t describe it as particularly private but that was in line with my expectations. Little pricey, but we had a good level spot (site 6) and again the convenience factor is very high.

Wonderful spot for getting to know a mini working farm. Too many animals to mention. Warm and friendly hosts in a beautiful country location.

Lots of fun friends to meet on the farm.

Great site with lots of lovely animals and great hosts. As their sign says, animals make noise so if this is not your thing, then don’t book here. For anyone interested though the hosts are very gracious in providing ample information about their many 4 and 2 legged residents

We're always looking for different camping experiences and this was a fun one! We had many visits from the friendly roaming goats, chickens, cats, and dogs. Bring a few carrots for the donkey and ponies. We purchased a farm tour and Russell showed us their many ongoing projects to maintain the farm as well as introduced us to their animals - many of them were rescued. My wife and I and our two teenage daughters all enjoyed our little taste of farm life.

Great hide-away farm with an interesting collection of animals. The only drawback for some people might be the 5am roosters crowing to start the day, but we had a good laugh and appreciated nature’s “wake up call”! Very nice hosts!
