The ranch is just a few miles away from the towns of Tomales and Dillon Beach, less than a mile away from Highway 1 (Shoreline Highway), and a great home base for exploring Marin or Sonoma Counties.
Please note: no pets, no smoking, no open flames.
We have some onsite cabins that we rent out and an on site manager - they are in the same general vicinity as the camping spots. While it is possible to come to the ranch and not see another person, we can't promise that.
It will be hard to find your campsite in the dark, so please arrive during daylight hours.
We have several different campsites available, some will be better suited to larger vehicles, so please let me know what you have when you submit your request. We sometime move our campsites around depending on weather, rain, and where our cattle are.

The host allowed us to park in a tree grove overlooking an incredible vista which was definitely preferable to the other camper spot because of the views. It was a truly stunning spot. Bathroom excellent. Very welcoming and magical place.
Stemple Creek Ranch was beautiful and private. We biked around a bit and watched the sunset over the valley and the mist roll in. Lisa also recommended yummy restaurants to eat at. Loved our stay!

We stayed on a meadow area adjacent to a eucalyptus grove. Oriented north/south we had beautiful views on both sides. You’re surrounded by lush rolling green hills. It’s very private and peaceful. Also good sun exposure if you’re using solar. If you’re looking for some privacy and a sense of nature, it’s a great spot. Only about 20 minutes or so from the 101 and a few minutes from the 1. Lisa and the farm manager Katie were very attentive.
This place is absolutely spectacular. 360-degree views of some of the most gorgeous land we've ever laid eyes on. The hosts are incredibly friendly (and so are the cows!) We spent two nights here and wish we'd booked many more. There is a large, clean, and well-stocked port-a-potty along with a picnic table and we found flat ground to pitch a tent easily. We were allowed to roam the property (as long as the electric fencing was secured) and there are some lovely hills to stroll. There is WiFi by the barn, and even some swings to embrace your inner child on. Highly recommend! A+++
This was a beautiful, easily accessible yet private campsite, with gorgeous views and lots of sunshine. The bathroom was pristine and the overall property stunning and welcoming. We would definitely camp here again! Lisa was the perfect host.

We had a wonderful stay at the ranch! Lisa was super helpful and accommodating when we needed a last minute place to camp. The view was gorgeous and the sheep were adorable.
