Six miles from the junction of Clark Fork Road and Highway 108 is Sand Flat Campground. There are several peaks in the area to explore including Lightning Mountain, Bald Peak, Red Peak, and Disaster Peak. Pick up supplies in several nearby communities including Cold Springs, the last chance for gas when traveling east.
