Starry Night Camp
This was a great find. We wanted to go up to Joshua Tree on Memorial Day weekend last-minute, and options were obviously slim, but we picked this one and were super happy with our choice. We were doing simple tent camping and Barbie's spot was great for that. Upon arrival, her boyfriend helped orient us on their property and suggested a spot to camp. Conditions were pretty windy, but they had a fire cage on the property so we could at least have a fire. There's no toilets here, but we knew that going into it so that wasn't a problem. And like another review mentions, Barbie's place is near a main road, but honestly, I prefer the sound of cars passing infrequently in the distance over dead silence. Barbie's place is also really close to a great dive bar (Landers Brew Co), coffee shop (Giant Rock Meeting Room) and a mini mart with everything you need.

Starry Night Camp
Barbie is a fantastic host. Despite our last minute reservation, she got back to us right away and was there to meet us when we arrived. She was very friendly, gave us a couple options for campsites around her small property, and pointed us toward a great local dive bar and a coffee place for the morning. Her property is a little closer to the main road than we were expecting, so there's a small amount of noise from passing cars. Access to it is really easy, though, even after dark. I would definitely recommend it if you have a low clearance car.

Starry Night Camp
Starry Night was a super pretty and spacious place to camp. We picked a kinda secluded spot and set up our tents, and our hosts let us bring the fire cage over to our campsite. Very cozy, awesome area, and nice hosts! They aren't kidding about the stars, either. Best night sky ever :)

Starry Night Camp
Starry Night Camp is a great quiet little spot to camp! If your looking for a place to rest your head while visiting Landers, Yucca Valley, or Joshua Tree, this is a great spot! Beautiful place to star gaze. Barbie is an excellent host, very laid back and helpful!
