If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
(cross posting since my group booked both the Diva Den and the Water Tower). My entire group fell in love with the Solis Family Farm. It was even better than we'd expected. Deja's son checked us in and he gave us a thorough tour and orientation. My friends stayed in the Water Tower and said it was cozy and comfortable. The entire property was stunning, especially the garden. We absolutely loved the amenities, especially the outdoor shower, the outdoor kitchen, and the communal fire pit. The whole place had a feeling of peace and serenity. There were several other groups staying over labor day weekend and it was so fun getting to know them and sharing the place. We got some incredible recommendations for things to do near by. We were so sad to leave after only two nights and seriously cannot wait to return.
I had such a wonderful time! This is a unique and cared for property that is perfect for relaxing. My husband and I enjoyed cooking in their beautiful, outdoor kitchen each night and spending time with Deja's four cute dogs. We felt very welcomed and hope to come again.
Deja welcomed us and made sure we knew where everything was. Awesome location, and beautiful property. The Water Tower was cool, but seems less used than the other spaces. It’s right near the parking area, so good privacy but loud in the mornings as others were awake super early. We didn’t mind too much, but there were quite a few people camped out on the property - not sure if they were hipcampers or not - water wasn’t working unfortunately. The common space was busy but we lucked out with a few hours to enjoy the kitchen space without other around.

Our weekend stay at the Solis Family Farm was magical. Comfy stay at the Water Tower. Day trips to Yuba River and Downieville, and in the evenings, hanging out with other guests by the fire pit. A unique and beautiful property. Thanks to the Solis family for the genuine hospitality!
Better than we expected!
I feel so refreshed after staying at Deja's oasis of a home. The pictures do not do it justice because, it is so much more beautiful than you expect. The area is bigger than it seems, with lots of beauty to look at. They have cultivated the land well and used it to their benefit making it so much more fun to use the amenities. The outdoor kitchen is amazing and if you love occasional community, this is your best choice. You can choose to hang out in your own area and then when you need to cook/drink/snack, you can interact with other people from all over. There are many hang out spots all of over the property. The outdoor shower plays off of what is already on the property and feels so refreshing to shower in. They are very eco-friendly, with composting, reusing all materials and eating off the land. It is truly refreshing to get out of the city in order to get in touch with nature and meet new people. I truly enjoyed my stay and could not have asked for a better host!
My friend and I had a fantastic time staying at the Water Tower and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable/elegant sleeping abode (with lots of character) on a funky/beautiful property with a delightful host. Deja—the gorgeous and charismatic hostess—greeted us warmly and showed us around her awesome property. The kitchen/dining space far exceeded our expectations and provided a charming atmosphere for us to drink champagne and indulge in some salmon on our first night. The outdoor shower was such a treat (Deja provides towels/soap/shampoo/conditioner, etc.); there’s nothing like washing one’s hair with a view of pine trees! The unobstructed view of the stars from the balcony of the water tower was a perfect way to end the day. We were blown away by how comfortable the mattress was and had a fantastic night’s sleep (Deja provides a fan in the room to keep air circulating throughout the night). And how could we forget to mention the 10-week old puppies romping about the property?!
