This. Place. Is. Awesome.
I stayed here with my husband and kids for 2 nights at the beginning of our road trip up the Pacific Coast Highway. It was one of the highlights of our trip! It is unique and beautiful and amazing. The view was incredible, and it made you feel like you were not in LA. It was super-clean, the shower was amazing, the beds were comfortable. We would have stayed here all week if we could have. I highly recommend it! (It looks just like the pictures)
Paradise is just a lyft away
I was visiting a friend in Los Angeles, and decided to take a Lyft to go camping (or, glamping) while I was in town. This property is the perfect example of making the most of a space. Tucked on the hillside, you have a beautiful Yurt with a fully stocked kitchen (plus some communal camper supplies), picturesque solar-heated outdoor bathtub, bathroom with heated shower, and a hanging egg chair that overlooks the valley.
Walk up the hill just a bit, and you'll find an amazing, almost 360 view of the area. I came up here both nights to watch the sunset, and highly recommend doing so, but respectfully as there appears to be another property at the very top of the hill. Upon arriving, ask Ilse how to get there it's a nice hike from the property and way to fully soak in being outdoors. My friends couldn't believe I was in LA when I posted a few photos of the sunset.
This was my first time going camping in a city and taking a ride share to get there and I HIGHLY recommend that everyone gives this a try! You don't really need camping equipment, but you definitely get the camping experience if you want to keep it simple for a few nights here. I would live here if I could!
- Pretty much every amenity you could ask for, and more.
- Neighbors nearby, but it is so tucked away you don't hear or see anyone else.
- Guitar in the yurt was fun to play with
- Goats to greet you near the bathroom in the morning :)
- You can hear the nearby traffic (but, find a giant jar with earplugs in the kitchen)
