Great place for a quiet weekend! The views are amazing and the proximity to the Thousand Palm Preserve and Palm Springs is awesome. Robert and his wife were very gracious hosts and were extremely helpful and responsive but still gave us our space. They strike a great balance.
Stayed here as a field scout with 2 friends. Whenever I'm visiting a location, I look for flat ground and privacy. Being in proximity to other places is a bonus.
This property delivered! You're not too far from Joshua tree, there is plenty of ground (even for large RV's), water, and electricity. It's a little noisy at night (highway isn't too far) but overall has everything you need for comfortable night. The host is very communicative and easy as well!
There was no bathroom facilities but there was also no one around so it was not a problem. The location was good...a short drive over to Palm Springs or to Coachella. Great views of the mountains and the windmills. Nice and quiet. Leon was very friendly and provided some interesting facts about the area.
Small, private location that was exactly as described. It’s in a rural area, but there are homes nearby. There was a small picnic table and an RV for a shared bathroom and shower. I was looking for an isolated experience, and the hosts were kind enough to oblige. I could hear coyotes, owls at night, and it was nice to awaken to the sounds of the birds.
Close yet so far...
Well, we did not end up making it and we camped closer to Palm Springs. The host was very communicative and we gave him a heads up. All-in-all we would book again and actually show up 😂.
