Description

The North Fork Campground is a semi-shaded campground on the North Fork of the Smith River. The campground is part of the North Fork Smith River botanical area, so visitors will enjoy the many rare plants that have adapted to the serpentine soil, as well as wildflowers in the spring and early summer. You’ll have a two-hour drive on rocky gravel to reach the site, but you’ll be rewarded with a remote and peaceful setting. The river is beautiful, but chilly and rocky. Instead of a swim, pop a squat on a rock and soak your feet on a hot day.
