This campsite offers a 4 person tent, set up and ready to use, beautiful views of Mt St Helena, hiking over 125 acres of rolling hills, rescued ranch animals to commune with, a grill to cook on and spring water swimming hole available to Blue Tent visitors 2:00-5:00 each afternoon.
Accessing the Blue Tent is very easy because you can drive right up to it. All you need to bring is your sleeping bag and a cooler with ice and whatever you plan to eat and drink. The campsite includes a propane gas grill for cooking, running water for drinking and cleaning, a picnic table for dining and a hammock to relax in. No bed linens or pillows are provided with the tent, so we ask that you bring your own bedding or sleeping bags. Also, a porta potty is close by for those times when nature calls.
Nearby the campsite, but separated by a gate, are the rescue ranch animals: horses, alpacas, pigs, Choctaw ponies, cows and our livestock guardian dogs. Visitors are welcome to hand feed the animals when accompanied by one of our caregivers. This seems to be everyone's favorite part of the experience. Feeding times are 9:30 Am and 3:30 PM. We also have a ranch dog, Naya, who visits all the campsites periodically. She's very friendly and loves children. If she wanders over just introduce yourselves nicely to her.
There's no where else that offers anything like this for those who love animals, all within a 20 minute drive to historic Healdsburg Square. We hope you come glamp with us at Sindisa!

The vibe at Blue Tent
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
This place is nothing short of magical. The tent is right on top of a hill with beautiful views all around, and theres lots of great trails to explore. Definitely watch the sunset from the picnic table, it's the perfect scenic spot!
This place is truly a gem! The site is great, not quite glamping if you're looking for a more authentic camping experience. The tent already being pitched just makes it more convenient, especially if you're arriving close to dark. The property is AMAZING! Horses and alpacas and pigs, everything you can want! It's also a (admittedly rigorous) hike to wineries nearby. Be sure to check in with the host and see what time she plans on feeding the animals so you can give them treats and pet them!
delightful space with beautiful views and everything you need for a perfect weekend camping experience — there's a firepit, picnic table, water, logs, a hammock, and the large blue tent. We had a great time cooking over the fire, took a hike around the property in the morning, and the host gave us a tour of the farm. Definitely download the directions beforehand and follow the instructions the host sends you, since google maps has the pin at the wrong place :)
