Description

Gray's Peak Group Campground has a one-up on the 'mile high club' at an altitude of over 7,000 feet. Get your groove on in your favorite tent and then light up the BBQ grill and fire ring. Hike your way up to Butler Peak Fire Lookout, or work those thighs and go by bike instead. Be prepared to rough it a little, as treating water and bringing your own trash bags is a must.

This spot is great for large groups. It is fairly secluded but a very large space. There are 6 picnic tables and two large grills as well as a fire pit and outdoor bathroom. The road to get in can be a little bumpy as it is dirt but I was able to get my fiat in and was fine. I loved how large the space was and there is some room to go exploring around the campsite.
