The vibe at Sage Circle Desert Living
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Sage Circle Desert Living was absolutely amazing! A group of us got out there a bit after dark and were welcomed in person to a campsite all to ourselves with a big open patch in the heart of gorgeous Joshua Trees for as far as the eye can see! Sherry gave us a starter log and our first bundle of wood while part of our group went to get more, and checked in with us at night as well as in the morning to see how we were. We also got our car stuck in the sand, and she helped us get out! 10/10 would recommend to anyone, this site is absolutely charming!
We are so grateful to have found this incredible site! The site is pretty undeveloped but well maintained with flat space, potable water and portapottys. Also, there is a lighted path which was really helpful! The hosts were welcoming and attentive every day we were there. They clearly care about the environment and beautiful land!
We had staff from our non-profit camping there at night and a program of high school students during the day. The site was beautiful with lots of Joshua Trees and our students and staff were inspired by the landscape.
Very charming and secluded place with no infrastructure or artificial light around to obstruct the view to the beautiful landscape and the stars. There's plenty of space and the different camp sites are relatively far apart, ensuring a rather intimate setting. Fire pits and potable water are available, and the drive ways, foot paths and whole area are well maintained, otherwise everything is kept minimalist and close to nature, which is great for the experience. Wouldn't change a thing!
Excellent experience. Sherry is very accommodating even to last minute bookings like me. Cute campsite with little led lights on the ground to guide your path. Port-a-potty was very clean and pleasant. Lots of choice to choose where to pitch your tent. Quiet enough for me, although you can hear the occasional motorcycle from 62. Beautiful environment with tons of wildlife and Joshua trees.
Great campsite and easy to book. We were able to book last minute at about 9:30 p.m. on a Friday after realizing we weren't going to be able to get a spot in Joshua Tree. Shelley was super nice and accommodating. Our spot had plenty of space, with a fire pit and table for us to use. Beautiful little spot with lots of Joshua trees surrounding you. Would definitely camp here again!
Sherry was a great host! She greeted us when we first got to the property and showed us around. She gave us the choice of whichever camping site we wanted. We chose the site nearest to all of the Joshua Trees. All 3 sites are beautiful and unique. There is a Porta Potty centrally located near all 3 sites. There is also water available.
This space is Beautiful and well cared for. There is a real sense of Tranquility and Peace all through out the property. I think this is a perfect location for anyone needing to recharge their batteries.
This is a place you can truly experience what desert can offer. It's a wide open land with 360 degree view of hills. There are Joshua trees and quite a few other desert plants to look at. I also saw cute wild rabbits and the cutest and smallest squirrels running around. The best part was that I got to watch the most amazing full moon rising from the hills in the distance. I was in awe - never seen full moon in such vibrant orange color before - I almost thought it was sunset.
The air is so fresh and clear - the vastness of the open desert land you can observe from this camp site is simply impressive! The two hosts are very friendly and pleasant to be around too. I would definitely go back visit again.
This is a great campsite with nice views. The amenities are just as described. Loved how remote it is but also only about 10 minutes away from town. Its about 35 minutes to the entrance of the park, but you can hike near the Black Rock area which is a decent hike.
