Tent camping available with views of vineyards and mountains. We are about 1 mile from Ironstone and you can easily bike to downtown Murphys.
If you're willing to hike, you will enjoy views from the top of the lava-capped mountain, or choose to look out over the vineyards below. Tent and glamping spots are abundant and there are lots of gems and minerals to find. The property has an abandoned gold mine and a lush forest to explore. You'll have to hike game trails to reach the summit but it's worth the effort.
This is a pack in and pack out experience.
We do have a porta potty set up on site that is cleaned weekly.

James and Sara were amazing! They went above and beyond our expectations! When we got there they showed us around property.. we had mentioned we wanted to go to hotel in town.. they took us. Gave us your of town! Then offered to drive us to and from the concert we attended. Looking forward to coming back! Thanks again James and sara!
We had a great stay! The property was beautiful and Sara and James were great hosts! We stayed for one night after we went to a concert at Ironstone. It was easy to get to and from the concert. Sara and James left a lantern at our campsite so that we could find it when we got back at night. They even washed our daughters stuffed animal after it had gotten dirty and left it at our campsite. Thank you for a great stay!
Sarah and James were super accommodating! There property is about a mile down a dirt road from Ironstone Ampitheatre, and about 2 miles from Murphys. We were hoping to walk to the Ampitheatre, but its not the best road to walk on; Sarah and James offered to shuttle which was very generous. There were three other groups camping out the same night, everybody was friendly and respected each other's space. There's a couple horses on the property, so if you're planning on sleeping on the ground, bring a tarp or large groundcloth. I would definitely camp there again over going to a busy campground. Thanks Sarah and James!
