You get the best sunset view down the canyon from 2300 feet in the mountains. Stars are brighter here, there is no light pollution. We are above Oroville, close to the Scenic Feather River. We are now in the middle of the camp fire scar and just reopening the campground so the tree canopy is much more open, you can see more sky.

It was a great site, really nice bathroom. Fire pit is nice, but shared amongst the three sites. Hosts were really friendly
