The campsite at Roadrunner Farm is very ideal. It's in a beautiful large orchard with lots of trees and two vineyards. I came in early spring when some of the fruit trees are just starting to bloom and the grass is lush and green. I also love that the campsite has a sink, which is so useful. The bathroom is located in the house, with its own access and that was also very convenient. Plus, they have a beautiful pool, which would be amazing to use in the summer. I can see spending all day there!
Sara & Glenn are gracious hosts. They're experienced campers so they are very thoughtful about what others might look for in a camping site. They are so knowledgeable about the area. Ask Glenn about white water rafting! Thanks to their recommendation, we went to Sundial Bridge and loved it! We're already dreaming about another trip back here in the summer so we can swim in the pool :).

This spot was great! And the host could not have been more accommodating while still maintaining a respectful distance. I would highly recommend this to any traveler looking for a spot to safe, quiet & lovely spot camp on the way down I-5 spend several days in a beautiful location near readding!
Beautiful and super friendly place to stay. The pool was great and the host was so accommodating. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone plannng to stay near Redding.
Beautiful spot to wake up in near Redding, vinyards, beautiful trees, nicely secluded. The hosts are so friendly and accomodating to our late arrival. I would love to go back to this camp and spend more time. The sink with running water was a nice ammenity as was the picnic table, didnt get to use the fire pits... maybe next time.

This camp was as special as we had hoped for. Sarah and Glen were very friendly and inviting. The Pool was really nice for coolling off. And my daughters really enjoyed playing fetch with Nikki the dog. We will make this a regular stop on our way up the coast.
We stayed here with our two young kids. They liked playing with Nikki, the dog. We took a dip in the chilly pool with the resident frogs and ate our dinner under the fairy lights by the pool. The campsite was clean and had plenty of nice options for tent spots. At night we heard lots of coyotes yelping and neighborhood dogs barking back. Sara was super nice. If we are ever in the area in the future, we would definitely consider staying at this campsite again!
This was a lovely, peaceful spot and the hosts were very welcoming. Sara and Glen met us when we arrived to show us around and checked in later to make sure we had everything we needed.
Sara was a great host helping us get settled even though we arrived late. Their plot of land is massive and very private. Nice dog too!
Great time very kind host
