We book one group at a time. You get the whole 2 acres to yourself. It's primitive camping. There's an outhouse and antique hand pump to wash your hands and we just set up a small solar shower bag with privacy screen for those quickie camp showers and a small water tower shower at the river. We have installed a spacious 2 person tent on a platform with two army cots for your use for anyone that doesn’t want the hassle of setting up their own tent.
For entertainment the campground includes a giant log round to throw your tomahawk at, a dart board, a wooden deck platform, a hammock overlooking the river, a riverside nook with a checkerboard made from an old stump, a horse shoe pit, and a propane BBQ with a burner. There is also a firepit with log seating around it for storytelling and warming at night (fires may be restricted during fire season May-November approximately. Please contact me for current Cal-Fire and Tulare County campfire restrictions. ) Riverside Ranch is home to a herd of miniature dairy goats, free range chickens, a Dexter heifer, guinea fowl, and a large friendly livestock guardian dog named Boris. We welcome our guests to visit the farm. Goat snuggles are always free and plentiful. **Feel free to bring your yoga mat for an informal self directed goat yoga session too.
This property is located five miles southeast of the town of Three Rivers, a short distance below the entrance gate to Sequoia National Park (about 40 minutes below the Giant sequoias) and 7 miles from Lake Kaweah, where you will find almost unlimited outdoor activities to enjoy. You can go on a day trip from our location to the giant trees inside Sequoia and hit all the waterfalls on the route to Road's End in Kings Canyon. You can also take Dry Creek Road to Pinehurst, travel the North Fork Drive to the historic Kaweah Post Office, travel forty minutes off the paved road to the end of South Fork to LadyBug Creek to hiking trails, and so much more.
*This is a working ranch. There are farm animals including chickens, cattle, dogs, guinea fowl, and dairy goats. Animals make noise and smell.
*we are in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Cal-Fire cracks down on wood warming fires here as soon as the hills start to dry out.. When that happens we have a propane fire pit for warming fires/making S’mores, and a propane bbq for cooking. It’s still green so we may get lucky and get to keep the wood fires going for another few weeks, but I cannot guarantee it.Sorry, fire season is upon us now and there is an area wide ban on fires. The site includes a BBQ for food preparation.

I honestly could not have had a better experience at this magical camp! The grounds were absolutely magical and picturesque. We pulled up to the site to a warm welcome from the owner Jerry, who was nothing but helpful and kind in every way possible. One of our very favorite experiences was our goat yoga that Heidi so perfectly accommodated with her award winning show goats. We spent some time up in the doe garden practicing yoga and acro while the goats hung around and even came up for kiss or nuzzle every once and a while. They have a HUGE guard dog who is the sweetest polar bear you can imagine. All of the animals on this farm are gorgeous and so well kept. Down at the camp site (just a short walk away from the goats) we had acres of land to explore and inhabit. There is large river that runs along side the site that is poetic and peaceful. We found endless places to put our hammocks and hang to enjoy the nature. The site includes an awesome water pump, a picnic table, fire pit, and outhouse. The hosts were beyond accommodating but also very respectful of space and weren't noticed at all. They provided us some drinking water, fire wood, hot coco and Heidi even gifted me some home made soap from the goats milk. The site is just 30 minutes from the sequoias (a must see) and surrounded by countless hikes and trails. Our whole group had an amazing experience and we think anyone who discovers this gem is going to as well. 10/10
CHICKEN We had such an amazing time at the Riverside Ranch. 7 of us loaded up from Orange County and spent the weekend camping at the Riverside Ranch. The weather was warm but having the river just a few steps away kept us cool! Heidi was so nice and accommodating. Made our experience very easy. If you are looking for a little getaway near Sequoia National Park this is your spot!!
This place is such an underrated gem. Heidi and her husband have really done a wonderful job with the space; they’ve made a deck and outhouse, there are picnic tables, and even a little checkers table and benches. The spot is right below the farm and you can hear the rooster and goats, so definitely keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper. Heidi was so warm and welcoming and we got to meet her chickens, goats (and baby goats!!) and her Saint Bernard, Bobo! She is such a sweetheart and even lent us a vacuum when we had a slight ant problem in the trunk of my car. Will definitely be coming back to visit! ❤️❤️
We loved our stay here! The grill, tent platform, outhouse, hammock and creek were all big pluses. Way nicer than a packed public campground- Heidi even drew us a map to a secret swimming hole. A++++
My friends and I loved this camp site. Plenty of room on soft sand to setup all of our tents. Fell asleep at night to the sounds of the river water. Woke up to sounds of farm animals in the morning. Used the gas grille to cook meals and eat on the picnic tables. Felt secluded the entire time. Short drive to Three Rivers town where we went to a brewery and a diner for dinner one night. I would stay here again for my next group trip to Sequoia. Highly recommended!
Heidi and her husband were amazing hosts! The site is beautiful and exceeded my expectations. I loved that they only do one reservation at a time, so you have the whole site to yourself. Upon arrival, there was a whole bunch of wood left for us, fire starter, a little lantern and drinking water! They even brought us marshmallows! As it was the start of Spring, it rained one night and they checked in on us to make sure we were ok, but they were very respectful of our space. We went up to see the animals and they were absolutely adorable, but more than that, they were so well taken care of and respected. It was very clear that they love what they do and they put a lot of care into everything. The site is along a river which was a very peaceful backdrop for relaxation. Sequoia National Forest is about a 45 minute drive from the site. The gas grill with burner was really nice to have for heating things up and boiling water. Outhouse was very clean and well maintained.
My girlfriend and I stayed here two days in a camper van, but were blown away by the amenities! There was a solar shower, outhouse, and plenty of games set up throughout the property. The real highlight of the space was Heidi, her goats, and of course Boris! Unbelievable hospitality - Heidi welcomes us into her property and explained everything about her goats and how she got to three rivers. She even set us back home with some farm fresh eggs for breakfast!! We can’t wait to come back to the area!
