It was perfect. We had the whole place to ourselves. Peaceful. Free. Jason let me use his wood deck which was a huge plus!

Nice site by Diamond Lake/Wineries
Great site on the hill. We were the only campers and it was private and quiet. Great to see the stars. Awesome host that was very helpful. Loaned us the adapter to hook up our trailer electric. Water has some iron in it and if this would bug you, you should bring your own drinking water. We hooked up the water and used it. I would camp here again.

Chill spot in the hills
This place was outstanding. Mountain Views in all directions. My host was incredibly responsive; even after booking at such a late hour. Although he wasn’t present due to work, I never had to wait more than a few moments for a response with anything I needed. As iterated, it is low dug well water. So, bring a filter for hook ups and bring your own water for drinking, teeth brushing etc. would definitely recommend and hope to return sometime and chat with the host. Seemed like a rad fella.

QUIET< PEACEFUL< SECLUDED SETTING
Your spot sits on the very top of the property. The added string of lights and foot logs makes for a nice touch. You are in a private equestrian horse setting where the Host or the dozen surrounding neighbors do not disturb you. You can hear the rooster crow in the morning to let you know you are in the foothills of the country. It is a 50AMP only {we had a convertor} there is water, and I recommend letting it run a little but no sewer {just as stated}.
The dogs loved being off the leash, and we walked 8 miles exploring the off-road trails. There are a few dead ends so that we would walk in all directions, but most of the property is privately owned, or no trespassing {take note of that}. We were only interested in the rest, quiet, and peaceful visit away from our city, but if you wanted to journey into Wine Country, it was approx. within 20mins and a beautiful drive.
If following the directions given by Jason, the ride will be smooth and have well-paved roads.
In the end, we would recommend our dogs loved the adventure of quail crossing, lizards passing, roadrunners, bunnies hopping, and the wonderful weather. Thank You, Poppy Lane, for sharing your land with us. ~Very Respectfully, Hector & Melissa, our dogs Preston & Willow
