Description

Rogers Cow Camp is a small rustic campground that’ll make you feel like you really escaped reality. It’s a popular motorcycle staging area with single track trails and all campsites have handicap-accessible features (one is fully accessible). Scenes from Gone With The Wind were shot in the nearby town of Paradise, right off Stark Lake.

CLOSED 2021. Bear Fire 2020 wiped out 50 miles of National Forest between Quincy and Lake Oroville, so this camp was burnt in that blaze is is currently NOT OPEN to the public.

Nice new picnic tables. Good location forested campground NFS, easy access off Oro-Quincy Highway (which has been closed since 2017, due to landslide). Coming in the back way from Bucks Lake, you'll likely have the whole place to yourself.
