Description

Popular with deer hunters, Crocker Campground is a modest camp located 10 miles northeast of the tiny town of Portola. Railroad fans choo-choo-choose Portola because it’s home to the Western Pacific Railroad Museum, where they can run a real, live locomotive on museum grounds. The town is still a crew change site on the Union Pacific Railroad.
