Surrounded by nature and horses you will experience our mountain in complete peace. Amazing amenities and incredible upkeep of our little haven provides you with amazing peace and comfort during your stay. Gypsy Mountain provides 15 campsites. Above the horses and nestled in the hillside, you will find Campsites 1-8 along a one-way 'Bunny Tail trail' Campsites 9-14 are next to each other in a half moon shape surrounding the fire pit. The incredible Peaceful Hearts fire pit is a communal space for all campers to gather. All campsites are easy walking distance to all of the amenities. If you are looking for a more private site, please select from campsites 1-8. Some sites have more or less shade, so we typically allow campers to make a final decision upon arrival. The vibe at Peaceful Hearts Gypsy Mountain
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
This camp is pure magic! Seriously, a pallet palace!
Everything you've ever needed is at your fingertips. We so enjoyed the ease of having the communal camp kitchen to use instead of lugging all of our gear out. Having a bathroom (with a view) was so convenient too. The ready-to-go fire pit and perfect little details make this site one of my absolute favorites. We loved that we could just disconnect from everything and sleep under the most gorgeous canopy of stars. The second best part of this place is waking up to a beautiful sunrise and being greeted by Kendra's docile horses. My kids were in heaven! The absolute best part has to be the hosts! I've never met more accommodating, welcoming or friendlier hosts than Kendra, Kyle, and Alyssa.
You're only 20ish minutes away from two major towns (Hello Garage Brewery!) but you feel so far away on the property. We spent most of our second day here exploring the Santa Margarita River Trail and swimming on the banks of the river. We loved coming back to the site and relaxing in the Elfin Forest's treehouse with its outdoor bed and hammock.
This is a campground my family is already making plans to come back to as soon as possible! I couldn't recommend this site more. .
My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of spending the night at the charming site known as Peaceful Hearts Gypsy Mountain. Both Kedra and Alyssa were so kind and thoughtful and were committed to making sure our stay was as peaceful and comfortable as possible.
Everything was as expected and described. We were able to cook a full pasta dinner in the outdoor kitchen and enjoyed a fantastic evening of conversation by the fire pit with the other campers. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of horses is very calming and the overall vibe of Peaceful Hearts is positive and welcoming. We will definitely be visiting again.
We decided to go there before the day. Thanks for She accepted our request as fast.
We worried about We could arrive at there,But If you set the GPS before,You can get there,So Don't worry! When We arrived at there,She welcome to us super happy smile! She and her friend are so kind and also, She explained everything about how to spend safe and comfortable which is really good for us.There was some playing staff. The kitchen has everything. You don't have to bring staff(BBQ Skewer,Bowls,Plates,Cups,Pan,Camping stove,etc...You"ll see fruits and some snacks from her!)We were surrounding the camping fire with nice travels that was good night.Until We left there,She is really nice to us and She made us peaceful and comfortable short trip!
The site had tons of character and a great vibe! Lots of supplies available for cooking, they even had coffee stocked (thanks we forgot ours!) and a handy wash area for after meals. We loved interacting with the beautiful mustangs and meeting other campers at the fire pit! Thanks Kendra and the gang for being super helpful and gracious 🙏🏼
Wow.. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They guided us to trails. I really enjoyed the setup. They have a sink, electricity, stove, and pans at their covered, outdoor kitchen. The sunset in the mountains are beautiful. This is a great way to experience Southern California trails.
Camped here for one night and it did not disappoint! Came here with my boyfriend and everything from arrival to departure was smooth and easy. A very laid back environment and beautiful property. We made a campfire (bring wood) and made food on the grill. A perfect escape from the city. I would love to come here again.
I stayed at this site last weekend to celebrate my birthday weekend with my boyfriend and another couple. Unfortunately, my visit to Peaceful Hearts was not at all what I expected. When we arrived, we were waved at by a few people at the main house and told to go to the back of the property. When we drove to the back, the camp sites were all located on this small loop above the horse corral, very close together. The campsite itself is much smaller than the photos or the map make it seem. No one was checking reservations so we sort of just picked a spot to camp at (I'm glad there were empty slots because there was someone in the one I had booked). Though there were not many other people staying, I was very concerned about making noise, talking too loud at night, etc. because I knew it would probably disturb the person across from us. We did not see any actual staff or owners besides being waved at on our way in, and there were no instructions left for us, so we didn't know what to do for support with things like the firewood that was supposed to be available for purchase, or for help when an outlet in the communal kitchen began buzzing. My friends and I ended up wearing earplugs all night rather than listening to crickets and the sounds of nature because the buzzing was so relentless. The site itself is so close to the main home that I could see it from where we were, and felt more like a squatter than a camper. We ended up leaving after only one night. This was my first time using Hipcamp, and I'm truly disappointed. I think maybe if you rent the whole place out and use it for a retreat or a private group that may be more fun, but for private campers, I would not recommend staying here. I just didn't feel comfortable.
