The vibe at Peaceful Hearts Gypsy Mountain
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
This camp is pure magic! Seriously, a pallet palace!
Everything you've ever needed is at your fingertips. We so enjoyed the ease of having the communal camp kitchen to use instead of lugging all of our gear out. Having a bathroom (with a view) was so convenient too. The ready-to-go fire pit and perfect little details make this site one of my absolute favorites. We loved that we could just disconnect from everything and sleep under the most gorgeous canopy of stars. The second best part of this place is waking up to a beautiful sunrise and being greeted by Kendra's docile horses. My kids were in heaven! The absolute best part has to be the hosts! I've never met more accommodating, welcoming or friendlier hosts than Kendra, Kyle, and Alyssa.
You're only 20ish minutes away from two major towns (Hello Garage Brewery!) but you feel so far away on the property. We spent most of our second day here exploring the Santa Margarita River Trail and swimming on the banks of the river. We loved coming back to the site and relaxing in the Elfin Forest's treehouse with its outdoor bed and hammock.
This is a campground my family is already making plans to come back to as soon as possible! I couldn't recommend this site more. .
My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of spending the night at the charming site known as Peaceful Hearts Gypsy Mountain. Both Kedra and Alyssa were so kind and thoughtful and were committed to making sure our stay was as peaceful and comfortable as possible.
Everything was as expected and described. We were able to cook a full pasta dinner in the outdoor kitchen and enjoyed a fantastic evening of conversation by the fire pit with the other campers. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of horses is very calming and the overall vibe of Peaceful Hearts is positive and welcoming. We will definitely be visiting again.
We decided to go there before the day. Thanks for She accepted our request as fast.
We worried about We could arrive at there,But If you set the GPS before,You can get there,So Don't worry! When We arrived at there,She welcome to us super happy smile! She and her friend are so kind and also, She explained everything about how to spend safe and comfortable which is really good for us.There was some playing staff. The kitchen has everything. You don't have to bring staff(BBQ Skewer,Bowls,Plates,Cups,Pan,Camping stove,etc...You"ll see fruits and some snacks from her!)We were surrounding the camping fire with nice travels that was good night.Until We left there,She is really nice to us and She made us peaceful and comfortable short trip!
The site had tons of character and a great vibe! Lots of supplies available for cooking, they even had coffee stocked (thanks we forgot ours!) and a handy wash area for after meals. We loved interacting with the beautiful mustangs and meeting other campers at the fire pit! Thanks Kendra and the gang for being super helpful and gracious 🙏🏼
Kendra is awesome. The place where you camp is smaller then the map makes it seem but it's still really great. Horses were wonderful, even though we were totally nervous Kendra let us hang out with them and talked us through. She also does horse therapy! Would absolutely go back.
Kedra and the team were great! So welcoming and warm and made us feel at home right away. There is a shared kitchen with all utensils and tools to cook. Kedra let you freely interact with her horses. The common firepit is also a great way to socialize and meet new fellow campers. Also, Kedra has a great mission working with children!
Thanks for all!
Kedra, Kyle, and Alyssa were fantastic camp hosts! They are inclusive, welcoming, and all around incredible people.
They accommodated our needs and went above and beyond to make our stay exactly what we needed. Their property is beautiful and you won't be disappointed staying here. Wake up each morning to a beautiful sunrise and gorgeous horses. The Santa Margarita river is a short drive away and I highly recommend taking some time to go there. Kedra also has a host of other activities and provided great recommendations for time spent away from camp.
Whether you're looking to get away with friends or your husband/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend, this is your place. Take some time to unwind, disconnect, and enjoy nature.
Thanks for everything! We'll be back!
Wow.. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They guided us to trails. I really enjoyed the setup. They have a sink, electricity, stove, and pans at their covered, outdoor kitchen. The sunset in the mountains are beautiful. This is a great way to experience Southern California trails.
Lovely spot in the deep chaparral! Kendra's camping circle includes a sink, compost toilet & stove, all close to the horse corral and miles of trails. Awoke to Orion shining brightly & the snuffling sound of a horse. Healing & peaceful, can't wait to return!
I came here to spend a night bonding with my 9 year old daughter and had an amazing time! It so happen to also be their first annual Spooktacular which was a bonus and my daughter had an amazing time carving pumpkins and meeting new friends. Kedra, Little and the entire crew were just simply amazing. The site are very close to each other so if you're looking for a little more privacy be sure to request it in advance!
Camped here for one night and it did not disappoint! Came here with my boyfriend and everything from arrival to departure was smooth and easy. A very laid back environment and beautiful property. We made a campfire (bring wood) and made food on the grill. A perfect escape from the city. I would love to come here again.
