Full hookups RV sites with mountain and/or lake views for RVs up to 28 feet or car/van camping (not suitable for tents). Mellow community vibes, kayaks, SUP, stargazing, outdoor kitchen, Saturday bonfire nights, and more for wilderness and bug-loving adventure seekers keen to discover the Eastern Sierra. We’re a small family-friendly camp with a unique mix of RV sites, cool rental campers and tent camping spots.
I M P O R T A N T : Please let us know the TYPE & LENGTH of your RV/trailer/van (your booking request will not be accepted without that info). We have slightly lower rates available for car camping and RVs under 22 feet, starting at $47 in early season before Memorial Day weekend - please ask prior to requesting the booking.
Due to Covid-19, guests traveling in RVs/trailers are expected to use their own bathrooms, while of course having access to the full hookups: 30amp electric, water & septic - at their site. The use of our communal restrooms is limited to the tent campers and guests in small vans/teardrop trailers without a bathroom. Please see detailed info below and let us know if you'll need a bathroom access prior to requesting the booking. Thank you for your understanding!
Since it's gravel, we DON'T allow pitching tents on the RV sites (plus it's simply not comfortable for tent camping) but you're welcome to car camp. If you hope to tent camp with us, please check out and request one of our tent sites.
Our camp is now CLOSED for the winter (except for the Blu House rental) and will reopen on April 22nd. Please read below Covid-19 info and the entire listing description before requesting the booking. Stay safe and we can't wait to see you all soon!
Warm greetings to you from our piece of paradise! This is a new reality we are all getting used to, please be kind and mindful while at the camp and adventuring in the area, respecting other’s space and maintaining the safe six-foot distance. We are unsure what official COVID-19 guidelines may be at the time of your visit but we will just mirror them. Things have, and still may change daily. Please be flexible, we truly appreciate your patience and understanding.
We understand the concerns around the virus and would like to share with you the steps we are taking to ensure a safe, relaxing environment for all our guests and staff:
- Our restrooms are cleaned several times a day and all surfaces are disinfected. Please note, to ensure that social distancing guidelines are followed, our restrooms are closed to guests staying in their own/rented RVs or our rental campers. Our public restrooms are only available to guests staying at tent sites, in vans/small teardrop trailers without a bathroom, and in the Sierra Stream rental camper.
- Hand soaps, sanitizers, and disinfectants are available in all common areas for regular use.
- The use of some of our amenities (such as laundry) may be limited or not available.
- As per May 1st 2020 order, the use of facial coverings while in public in Mono County and interacting with people outside of your household is required, in effect through the end of the COVID-19 pandemic emergency declaration. Please come prepared. We will ask you to wear masks/face coverings when walking around the camp but not when at your site.
- Please be respectful of the maximum occupancy, as stated in the listing. Infants, children, and adults all count as one.
- Consider getting all your supplies before coming to our community.
Now more than ever it is important to spend time connecting in the great outdoors and we are ready to share campfires, starry nights, and our serene area with you. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. It is a place where social distancing happens naturally. This is a great opportunity to be together in Nature and not to be isolated in our homes. Together (from a safe distance) we will remain healthy, positive, and strong!
Please read through the entire listing to find out more about these sites and our camp. We can't wait to hear from you and to be part of your adventures in the Sierra! :-)
Our Mountain Views RV Camping are gravel spots with mountain and/or lake views, some are more exposed, some offer shade. PLEASE NOTE, the location marked on the map is approximate and they may be anywhere within the camp, and your site number will of course differ from the default Sites #1-#4, that refer to the number of spots we list. In any case, we'll always make sure that the site is a great fit for your van/RV! We're a great fit for campers who appreciate a safe space with a friendly welcoming atmosphere, and are keen to embrace community vibe and meet fellow travelers, or prefer to keep to themselves and simply enjoy the outdoors.
We're a husband and wife team and this is our adopted home - a small RV Park & Campground located directly on the shores of Bridgeport Reservoir. We believe in campfires, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, a deep sleep and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and turn on your senses. When you arrive, we won’t hand you a list of rules but we may ask you to join us for a campfire, remind you to conserve water, and to separate your trash so we can recycle it. That’s about it, oh yeah: relax, it’s your vacation.
It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting an RV site as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to lounge outside and read for days. For the more adventurous, we offer a full slate of self-guided recreational activities such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards and so much more. Do you enjoy bird watching? There are hundreds of different species right here at Paradise Shores, which is located on a major bird migration route.
We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guest to “unplug” and immerse in the slow pace life instead. If you come to stay with us over the weekend, you'll be welcome to join us around the campfire and connect with fellow campers (we have fires on most Saturdays). There's no fire pit option at RV sites but you're welcome to use a communal fire ring or bring your portable elevated fire pit to enjoy a fire directly at your site any day.
Did we mention that we love dogs? Be sure to bring you four legged friend when staying with us (we can accommodate up to two dogs at each site). With dog wash and off leash dog beach, your adventure pup will be a happy camper here! Please note that the dog beach can be quite limited when the water level in the reservoir is high. On the upside, the lake looks absolutely gorgeous then! When the water level is lower, it's plenty for walks, running around and playing with your pup.
We hope Paradise Shores becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, Twin Lakes, and the historic gold-mining town of Bodie are all within a short drive from here.
Please note, we ask for 3 nights minimum stay throughout the season and over the Memorial & Labor Day weekends and 4 nights over the 4th of July weekend (we won't have arrivals or departures on July 3rd & 4th).

Beautiful location on the other side of Yosemite National Park - quiet and relaxed. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. There was quite a cold breeze coming off the lake and mountains when we were there but it didn't spoil our stay at all. Was so peaceful waking up surrounded by mountains in the morning. Would definitely stay again. Plenty to do in the local area when we got there too! Thanks guys!
Mountain Views RV Camping was everything we were hoping for. Beautiful setting on the lakeshore, wonderful hosts and great amenities. We were close to Yosemite and numerous other activities. As long as you bring adequate supplies, you'll be set. There is a community campfire, so if you prefer your own, you do need to bring a fire ring. But it was nice to talk to the other travelers while we were there. And the view of the night sky was unlike any I've ever seen. Highly recommend!
We had a fabulous time camping at Paradise Shores. The hosts and the owners were extremely friendly, and very helpful at all times. They helped us plan local day trips based on our family needs. All of their suggestions were great...from visiting Bodie to hiking at Virginia Lakes...and doing water sports at June Lake. The campsite itself is well maintained and overall very clean. There are about 20 sites that can be booked and there is a handful of remodeled trailers that are offered to rent. There is a common area where campers can cook or have a joint camp fire. On top of that on Saturday nights Veronika and the team offer free smores at the camp fire for all families. The campsite has a very nice vibe to it. All campers were very friendly, sociable - and very respectful to their neighbors. We did not meet anyone who was playing loud music or was up till midnight partying...Overall it was a great family campground with fabulous owners, staff and fellow campers. We are already planning to come back next year!
I’m already missing Paradise Shores. Our experience was beyond amazing. This will be the only place we stay at when we visit Yosemite. Veronika and her staff was beyond polite and amazing. Kelly, was quite possibly the sweetest person we’ve ever met. Made us feel right at home. The only complain I have is that Paradise Shores is far away from our home. We wish it was closer, we would definitely be going more often, lol. The accommodations where beyond what we had hoped for. We are all still elated from our trip and hope to stay here again soon. It was just what I needed after spending 7 months overseas. Thank you Veronika and your staff for an amazing stay.
Pleasant, helpful, friendly, clean
This was our favorite campsite by far as we traveled across the USA!! Veronika and her fellow hosts were awesome!! They always wanted to be helpful with whatever was the need. The campground is not only clean and well kept but cute!! Every little detail was thought about and decorated or provided.
I would strongly recommend the cutest little campground west of the Mississippi!
We had a wonderful stay at Paradise Shores. The host Veronika was great to communicate with, and kind. The location is a nice jumping off point for many close by areas of interest. This campground was quiet and everyone there was respectful of the Covid19 guidelines. We are looking forward to our next stay here!
We arrived fairly late (9:00 pm), and was still greeted by Alen. He was a very gracious host and have us info on how to best explore Yosemite the next day. I would definitely recommend approaching Yosemite from the east. Tioga pass and the road to the valley floor (highway 120) were completely spectacular. It takes about 2 1/2 hours but is worth it.
Alen and the family have a very welcoming and comfortable environment that they have created for their guests. Thank you.

The owners made us feel very welcome. There is a relaxed atmosphere at the campground, with campfires in the evenings. The view over the lake and the mountains in the background is magnificent. A perfect base to go and explore the area, because there is a lott to see and do.
