We're a family owned RV Park & Campground located on the shores of Bridgeport Reservoir. Together with our crew, we're excited to welcome you into our newly adopted home.
We believe in campfires, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, a deep sleep and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and turn on your senses.
It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a tent/RV site or a camper as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to sit outside and read for days, enjoy campfires and eat s'mores. For more adventurous, there's a full slate of self-guided recreational activities, such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards, bird watching, available in the area. We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guests to “unplug” and immerse in the slow paced life instead.
At Paradise Shores, we believe in protecting people, animals and the planet. We make sure that the majority of products we use at our camp is recycled, composted, or re-used. We prefer to use products that are produced in a sustainable way and avoid those that aren't.
We are continuously reducing the amount of waste we generate and actively promote recycling of aluminum, plastic, glass, and cardboard. We pack our own recycling and haul it to the nearest recycling facility which is an hour away. We co-opt the drive with other activities to reduce waste. We don’t use individually packaged toiletries or one-use products. We use plant and planet friendly detergent.
We're based in a desert. We share our precious water with the entire planet. With only 326 million cubic miles of water on the earth, the decreasing amounts of access to quality fresh water is alarming to us. We monitor how we use water in our day-to-day activities and are constantly working on ways to reduce our consumption of fresh-water resources.

We hope Paradise Shores Camp becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, and Twin Lakes, as well as the historic gold-mining town of Bodie, CA are all within a short drive from our place.
We're proud to know this area intimately and are excited to share the secret spots with you. The excellent hiking/running trails including the Pacific Crest Trail, thousands of miles of ATV, dirt bike and mountain bike trails are accessible right from our camp or within a short drive from here. The surrounding terrain offers endless activities and unbelievable scenery in remote wilderness settings.
Pet Policy
All our RV & Tent sites are pet friendly and we allow up to two dogs per reservation for a small fee. We can also accommodate up to two four-legged campers in our pet-friendly Baja or Tatra trailers for a small fee, we ask that they stay off the furniture (beds, sofas etc.) and are not left in the rental unattended. We love dogs, but sadly won’t be able to accommodate heavily shedding pets that aren’t house trained. Additionally, our insurance will not allow "aggressive breeds" that include any mix of: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman, German Sheppard.
Please pick up after your pup and use a leash when at the camp. Thank you in advance for your consideration and help in keeping our camp a mellow and enjoyable place for everyone.

This Paradise Shores Tent Camping site (T4) offers unrestricted views of the Sawtooth Mountain Range and Bridgeport Reservoir (extra mayflies exposure included ;-)). With that, you'll be getting the best spot to admire our beautiful Eastern Sierra sunsets.
The site is located close to our Sierra Stream rental and comes with a space for 1-2 small backpacking tents and parking spot for one car (please note, there's NO overflow parking available when camping at this site, plan accordingly). This spot is TENT CAMPING ONLY and is NOT SUITABLE for car camping, camper vans, rooftop tents etc. Please check availability at our Tent & Van Camping Site or message us to see how we may be able to accommodate you.
This tent camping site is pretty exposed, so please bear in mind you won't have much cover from the wind or sun. The palapa pictured in some of the earlier photos unfortunately fell with the winds. You're welcome to bring your shade pop-up. T4 site comes with a picnic table, fire pit, free WIFI and the access to our clean bathrooms.
We're a great fit for campers who appreciate a safe space with a friendly welcoming atmosphere, and are keen to embrace community vibe and meet fellow travelers.

For the more adventurous, there's a full slate of self-guided recreational activities such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards and so much more. Do you enjoy bird watching? There are hundreds of different species right here at Paradise Shores, which is located on a major bird migration route.
We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guests to “unplug” and immerse in the slow pace life instead. If you come to stay with us over the weekend, you'll be welcome to join us around the campfire and connect with fellow campers (we have fires on most Saturdays, weather permitting).
Please note that the water level in the reservoir varies greatly, based on the snow pack and time of year and may be lower if there's a little snow in the winter. Typically, the lake’s edge will recede as the season progresses. So, if you are coming later in the season (late August onwards), you should expect the water level to be lower. Swimming isn't available, particularly in late July onwards. We recommend the nearby Twin Lakes just off Bridgeport if you would like to go for a swim, while you're welcome to use our complimentary kayaks and SUP on the reservoir. We get awesome sunsets and sunrises over the Sawtooth Ridge nonetheless!
Did we mention that we love dogs? Be sure to bring you four legged friend when staying with us (we can accommodate up to two dogs here). With dog wash and dog beach, your adventure pup will be a happy camper here! Please note that the dog beach can be quite limited when the water level in the reservoir is high. When the water level is lower, it's plenty for walks, running around and playing with your pup.

These spots will easily accommodate a couple of backpacking tents and parking for one car is included in the rate. Our spacious Tent & Van Camping spot (T1) offers front row views of the water and the Sawtooth Mountain Range. This site is perfect for a camper van, rooftop tent or truck camper up to 18 feet, and/or a tent or two. One parking spot is included in the rate and we can accommodate the second vehicle, if needed, either at your site or in our overflow parking. Please select Extra Vehicle Fee from the Extras if you're planning a 3-night stay, or message us prior to requesting the booking if your stay duration differs, so we can adjust that rate for you accordingly. There’s never been a better time to move your office away from the city and into the nature if you’re looking for an extended workcation. You can now get all your remote work done while enjoying everything the Eastern Sierra has to offer!

Since our sites are gravel, we DON'T allow pitching tents at the RV sites (plus they're simply not comfortable for tent camping) but you're welcome to car camp. If you hope to tent camp with us, please check out and request one of our tent sites.

Our Mountain Views RV Camping are gravel spots with 30amp electric, water, septic, high speed (1GB) fiber optic WiFi internet, and mountain and/or reservoir views, some are more exposed, others offer some shade. PLEASE NOTE, the location marked on the map is approximate and your site may be anywhere within the camp, and the site number will of course differ from the default Sites #1-#4, that refer to the number of spots we list. In any case, we'll always make sure that the site is a great fit for your car/van/RV. We're a great fit for campers who appreciate a safe space with a friendly welcoming atmosphere, and are keen to embrace community vibe and meet fellow travelers, or prefer to keep to themselves and simply enjoy the outdoors.

It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting an RV site as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to lounge outside and read for days. For the more adventurous, there's a full slate of self-guided recreational activities available in the area, such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards and so much more. Do you enjoy bird watching? There are hundreds of different species right here at Paradise Shores, which is located on a major bird migration route.
We encourage our guests to “unplug” and immerse in the slower paced life but do have WIFI internet. And not just any WIFI but blazing fast (1GB) fiber optic internet broadcast over mesh network. There’s never been a better time to move your office away from the city and into the nature if you’re looking for an extended workcation. You can now get all your remote work done while enjoying everything the Eastern Sierra has to offer! If you come to stay with us over the weekend, you'll be welcome to join us around the campfire and connect with fellow campers (we have fires on most Saturdays weather permitting and if no fire restrictions in place). There's no fire pit option at RV sites but you're welcome to use a communal fire ring or bring your own portable elevated fire pit to enjoy a fire directly at your site any day.
Please note that the water level in the reservoir varies greatly, based on the snow pack and time of year and may be lower if there's a little snow in the winter. Typically, the lake’s edge will recede as the season progresses. So, if you are coming later in the season (late August onwards), you should expect the water level to be lower. Swimming isn't available, particularly in late July onwards. We recommend the nearby Twin Lakes just off Bridgeport if you would like to go for a swim, while you're welcome to use our complimentary kayaks and SUP on the reservoir. We get awesome sunsets and sunrises over the Sawtooth Ridge nonetheless!
Did we mention that we love dogs? Be sure to bring you four legged friend when staying with us (we can accommodate up to two dogs here). With dog wash and dog beach, your adventure pup will be a happy camper here! Please note that the dog beach can be quite limited when the water level in the reservoir is high. When the water level is lower, it's plenty for walks, running around and playing with your pup.

The Sierra Stream camper, our seriously cool Airstream remodel, is designed for a nature-loving couple, but could also accommodate a family with a baby co-sleeping with parents. There's a space for a 2-person tent that can be pitched outside the trailer for an extra fee, if there are additional 1-2 people keen on joining you (so up to four guests in total can stay here: two in the trailer and further two tent camping outside), please ask prior to requesting the booking.
Short walk from the reservoir, the Sierra Stream features a queen size bed with scenic mountain backdrop painted by previous owner Veronika and woodwork created by our friend Peter. A full size farmhouse sink, fireplace, library, spectacular view of the mountains and the reservoir, induction stove, Chemex coffee maker, cozy seating/dining area are just a few of our favorite things. Fridge, microwave and toaster are also part of the rental. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, cookware, glasses, cups, plates, paper towels, soap, and all the typical kitchenware. An "oh so cozy" down comforter, cotton sheets, bath towels, and dish towels are all provided, and hot spring towels are available upon request.
Even though Sierra Stream offers many "luxuries", it DOES NOT have a toilet or shower. We wanted you to enjoy an open layout with tons of space and proximity to the reservoir (this camper is located the closest to the shore). Including the shower/toilet would require hooking this camper up to septic, which wouldn't be possible at the current spot. We believe the location and the view you'll be getting are worth a little walk to our immaculate communal bathrooms (about 100 yards away).
The camper has a high speed (1GB) fiber optic WIFI internet, cooling system, and an outside seating area with fire pit, barbecue and ultra cool camp stove. We also provide one-use supply of charcoal briquettes, to get you set up for your grilling and outdoor entertaining, and you can buy firewood at our office. So, all you really need to bring is some clothing and food. Pretty much everything else is covered. We have two kayaks, SUP and paddle boat you can use for free on the reservoir.
The rate includes space rent, propane, our awesome wifi, one parking spot as well as Mono County occupancy tax (TOT). There's an additional flat rate for optional tent camping (regardless if 1 or 2 people camp) - please set the number of campers to three and let us know if 3 or 4 people will be coming to stay. We can also accommodate an extra car, if needed, in our overflow parking at extra fee. We fell in love with the Mexican culture, art and hospitality and wanted to share that experience with our guests at Paradise Shores. Make sure to bring some tequila to truly soak in the atmosphere! Our Baja themed camper is comfortable, fun, and offers great views of Bridgeport Reservoir and the mountains. It is ideal for a couple, but can sleep three adults. The sleeping options consist of queen size bedroom and a pull out couch located in the living area. Free high speed (1GB) fiber optic WiFi internet, TV with a DVD player, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster are all provided. The kitchen is equipped with utensils, cookware, glasses, cups, plates, paper towels, soap, and all the typical kitchenware. Bed sheets, towels, and dish towels are ready for your use as well, and hot spring towels are available upon request. The trailer has a cooling system and an outside area with outdoor furniture. Did we mention that we love dogs? Be sure to bring you four legged friend when staying in the Baja (we can accommodate up to two dogs in the camper but ask that they stay off the furniture - beds, sofas etc. - and are not left in the trailer unattended). Please let us know if you're planning on bringing a dog and what's their breed at the time of requesting the booking. As much as we love dogs, we won't be able to accommodate heavily shedding pets that aren't house trained. With dog wash and dog beach, your adventure pup will be a happy camper here! The dog beach can be quite limited when the water level in the reservoir is high. When the water level is lower, it's plenty for walks, running around and playing with your pup.

Every inch of it has been finished with the loving attention to detail, from old barnwood to panel the interior to travertine tiles in the new shower and bathroom. We finished it off with distressed wood flooring. We've put a lot of love and thought into finishing this camper and now it gives us a great joy to share it with you. We took some old barn wood and built a deck with a commanding view of the lake and the whole camp. There's no pretense at the Cape, it just feels right and everybody fits, well, the three of you will!

Welcome to the Blu House! If you looks closely, you’ll find signs of a family growing up in this home; the marks of the little one's heights etched on the door frame; pictures moved up and down leaving the tell tale nail holes. The house does tell the story of love and family growth, intertwined with the passion for the Eastern Sierra.. And then there are the birds chirping, the snow-capped mountains, the magnificent sunrises and sunsets over the reservoir, and unspeakable beauty of this country one can easily fall in love with. We open our home to you and hope you love it as much as we do.
The year-round Blu House sleeps five and is a perfect fit for a family or group of friends who know each other well and are pretty comfortable together. The primary bedroom comes with super comfy queen size bed and en suite full bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has adult size queen over queen bunk beds. There's also a second half bathroom with sink and toilet across the hallway from the primary bedroom. Please note that both, main bedroom and its bathroom, have curtains instead of door to maximize on the space, we hope you will be comfortable with this setup and will embrace it.
A private hot tub, full size farmhouse sink, wood burning stove (one bundle of firewood provided) and large screen projector with home theater (DVDs provided) are just a few of our favorite features.
You can't beat the serenity of this place, especially in the winter. The house and pretty much the whole area is just incredibly peaceful between November and March and it's a perfect destination to experience the winter magic, be still and see into the heart of the universe (stargazing is off the hook here!), and get away from the city hustle and bustle.
French door fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster are also part of the rental. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, cookware, glasses, cups, plates, paper towels, soap, and all the typical kitchenware. You’ll also find there coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and olive oil.
The "oh so cozy" down comforters, cotton sheets, bath towels, and dish towels are all provided. You're welcome to use our washer/dryer and the dishwasher (we provide detergents).

The Blu House is located 2 miles from the historic town of Bridgeport. Bridgeport is a cute little town with couple restaurants, sporting store, gift shops, bakery etc. We've put together a guestbook with some useful recommendations, which you'll find in the house along with the house manual.
You'll have access to the entire house. When our RV camp is open (late April through mid-October) you are also welcome to hang out at our various common areas with fireplaces and barbecues, which we tend to improve every year. We have two kayaks, SUP and paddle boat you can use for free on the reservoir in the mid-spring through early fall and for your winter fun, there's June Mountain ski area 45 minutes drive away and Mammoth Mountain ski area an hour drive away from here. Closer to the house, you can venture into Virginia Lakes area overlooking Mono Lake to ski or snowshoe there and end your daily adventures soaking in the unique Travertine Hot Springs located just 10 minutes from here.

At Paradise Shores, we are very proud of all our trailers. Each one has been hand-picked and made to be it's very best. Within that group, the Denali is our premier camper. It has its own front yard, garden, and dedicated barbeque. The trailer comes with three slide-outs, and a large living room area with a recliner and a pull-out couch. It also has a huge 38” flat-screen TV with a DVD player, surround sound, and a porcelain commode. Yup, this is one top-notch trailer.
This 35’ long beauty has it all and sleeps four. The large living area comes with a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and also features a large wall-to-wall closet. The living room sofa can also be converted into an additional queen size bed. Two sets of sheets, towels, and dish towels are provided and more are available upon request. For your enjoyment, a private paved patio with barbeque, a picnic table, and plenty of flowers is located just outside your door. We provide a one-use supply of charcoal briquettes, to get you set up for your grilling, and you can buy firewood at our office.

With a bright and spacious living & dining area and two completely separate bedrooms, Tatra is a perfect family trailer. The camper sleeps two adults in a comfy queen bed up front. The back bedroom has two twin RV-size bunk beds (72" x 30"). The living space comes with a large flat-screen TV with DVD player, audio system, a comfortable sofa, a dinette table and plenty of storage. This campground is AWESOME!! They have really done a lot to make it very comfortable. So many nice amenities. Such friendly hosts. They try and foster a sense of community here and it's very refreshing. Our spot T4 was so beautiful looking out on the reservoir. Would def stay here again! Was the best stop on a very long road-trip, did not want to leave!

Paradise Shores Campground is a great place to stay, but what really makes it stand out are the people running it. From the moment we arrived, everyone onsite was friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. You can tell they genuinely care about the campground and the people staying there.
The campground itself has a relaxed, comfortable feel, but the staff is what made the experience memorable. They were helpful, approachable, and made us feel right at home. That kind of hospitality makes a big difference when you’re traveling or camping away from home. The amenities stood out too. They have just about everything needed to have fun in the sun. Oh, and did I mention they have a W/D. Washing is free and drying uses quarters. They also have showers and restrooms if you need them. They really love dogs too.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Paradise Shores Campground to anyone looking for a friendly, welcoming place to camp. The location is great, but the people are what make it special.

An honest review of a satisfied camper! ⛺️
-Our stay: 5/2026 (campsite T4)
Communication- Prior to our stay, Peter, our main source of contact answered any questions we had! I like to be prepared.
-Views: Amazing! Best view out of all the tent sites. T1 - T3 (camp sites) still nice and right next to the lake.
Bathrooms: Clean and hot showers! And only a 1 minute walk from the site.
Some honesty: If you get overwhelmed with flying critters, no shade and bits of wind, this might not be the site for you.
T4 has no shade, and being right next to the water, you’re sharing living space with mayflies, a lot of them (do your research, might not be year-round)
My girlfriend and I like to do dispersed/ off grid camping, so that didn’t bother us. Luckily mayflies don’t bite, but can be overwhelming for some and making sure they don’t get in your tent.
-Community: only 5 min away from the beautiful small town for Bridgeport. We met some of the local shop owners, some of the nicest people we have met! They also gave us some local must see spots!
Final verdict: 10/10 We’ll be back!

Great location! Close to hot springs, Bodie, and lots of outdoor activities. It was very windy but we made the best of it! Nice clean campgrounds and showers and laundry was a plus!

My husband and I adored our anniversary camping trip in the Cape at Paradise. The camp host were kind and helpful. We went to one of the hot springs in the area and walked around the small town. We had a relaxing time walking around the camp and bird watching.

This was a great tent camping spot. I stayed in spot number four next to the water restrooms and showers were extra clean and well stopped with amenities. Communal kitchen and fire pits were great and we loved being able to have a fire at our campsite as well. Hosts were great.

Nice RV with a fully stocked kitchen and helpful camp hosts made this a great place to stay while checking out Yosemite. Quiet neighbors and beautiful views at this location. Be sure to check out the hot springs nearby!

Great campsite and little slice of paradise indeed! even as we did a tent site, it almost felt like glamping because of the access to showers, flush toilets, sinks, kitchen, and even body lotion haha! Dee was very thoughtful also as they switched us (without us asking) to a shadier spot as it was a very hot/sunny couple days and we had the hottest / least shaded site originally. The area is quite buggy (not the kind that bite but they are relentless), so just come prepared with burning sage / candles / bug spray / citronella, etc. if you are tent camping. Would absolutely return!

Great place to camp! We got the blue house and it was all worth it! Super clean, the camp host was very nice and accommodating. It has everything you need! Will definitely come back!

This place is a gem. Very nice RVs and campsite. It was very clean and well equipped for cooking (stove, oven, grill, microwave) / eating / making coffee. There were also lots of paddle boards and kayaks for getting out on the lake. Everyone there including the staff was very friendly–good all around vibes. Overall it was an enjoyable stay, would love to visit again.

This is a great spot, and the camp hosts are fabulous. The park is very well maintained. Access to the lake is awesome and the complimentary sups and kayaks are a bonus.
The one blemish on the experience was that for most of our 2-week stay, we had little more than ~15-18 amps. The park needs a rewire! So if running your AC and boiling the jug is something you expect, you will have issues.
Outside of that, the close proximity to CA's natural hot springs makes it all worthwhile.

LOVED the campsite, absolutely beautiful and accommodations for anything you’d need. Owners are the nicest people and there’s even a public cooking spot for everyone and showers with bathroom necessities. Only cons are the wind can be harsh and make camping in a tent or fishing a bit harder so I would check weather before visiting.

gorgeous site!! tent site #4 was set away from the others and right on the water. the hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming; i’ve never had access to so many on-site amenities at a hipcamp before. hot springs, mountains, lakes galore!!

Beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. Quite a lot of bugs but they weren’t the biting kind. We got rained out from our planned bike ride but we’ll come back again. Price seems very reasonable.

Overall a great stay. We visited during April so the other camp spots were closed. It was quiet except for the occasional car/trucks driving by. 30-45 min scenic drive to mono lake depending on the visit location. It would have been close to Bodie state park except the regular road to the park was closed in mid April. The long way took about an hour on gravel and dirt road still worth the visit though. Very close to the natural hot spring.

We loved camping here. T4 campground has specifically great view. Saw great sunsets. Clean bathrooms and there is a dog shower too.

We were welcomed by the lovely Elizabeth and felt so happy to be there. The bathrooms are clean and amazing. Well stocked and decorated so cute! The site was quiet and peaceful. However, no swimming in the water! Wish we would’ve known that. BUT we found some great swimming spots and hikes nearby.

This campsite was such a treat! The campground was very quiet, the views were ample, and we loved how close we were to a variety of activities/things to see. The facilities were insanely clean and well kept too! We can't wait to come back next year 😊

Tent camping here is great aside from the bugs from the reservoir swarming at night. Getting in and out of the tent without having 100 mosquito and knats following you in was a bit of a challenge. T4 has the best view and is away from the other tent sites but it's the furthest walk to the bathroom, showers, and communal kitchen space etc. it's also the only tent space with no cover at all from the sun and no bushes to block the straight line winds that come off the water if there is rain coming. Every other tent site had some shade as well as a protective barrier from the wind so I would suggest they work on that or make that more clear in the description. I would definitely go back. It was a great experience
