Dear All, we are now closed for winter and will reopen on April 26th. However, we are ready to take your bookings for anytime between April 26th and mid-October! This site is currently UNAVAILABLE; but we may open it up later in the season. If so, you will see the availability between May and October on our calendar. If you don't see any availability, please check out and request one of our other tent sites. We look forward to hearing from you and hope to be part of your adventures in the Sierra :-)
We're a husband and wife team and this is our adopted home - a small RV Park & Campground located directly on the shores of Bridgeport Reservoir. We believe in campfires, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, a deep sleep and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and turn on your senses. When you arrive, we won’t hand you a list of rules but we may ask you to join us for a campfire, remind you to conserve water, and to separate your trash so we can recycle it. That’s about it, oh yeah: relax, it’s your vacation.
This Tent Camping with Convenience Hookup site has city slickers with newly found passion for the outdoors written all over it. The site is perfect for those who buy into the idea of camping, but aren't quite ready to go completely 'wild'. You'll be getting the best of both worlds, with electricity and water hookups as well as spectacular views of the Sawtooth Mountain Range and Bridgeport Reservoir.
This spot will accommodate a tent (or tents) + car. We can accommodate the second vehicle for an additional fee ($6); please let us know if you need the extra parking space prior to requesting the site, so we can adjust the listing's rate for you. The site comes with a picnic table, free WIFI and the access to clean bathrooms stocked with supplies available to our campers. The site also offers a welcome shade of the neighboring tree :-)
It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a camping site as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to lay in one of our hammocks and read for three days. For the more adventurous, we offer a full slate of self-guided recreational activities such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards and so much more. Do you enjoy bird watching? There are hundreds of different species right here at Paradise Shores, which is located on a major bird migration route.
We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guest to “unplug” and immerse in the slow pace life instead. If you come to stay with us at the weekend, you'll be welcome to join us around the campfire and connect with fellow campers (we have fires on most Saturdays, s'mores are on us!)
Did we mention that we love dogs? Be sure to bring you four legged friend when staying with us. With dog wash and off-leash dog beach, your adventure pup will be a happy camper here!
We hope Paradise Shores becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, Twin Lakes, and the historic gold-mining town of Bodie are all within a short drive from here.
Please note, we ask for 2 nights minimum stay during our busy season and 3 nights minimum stay over Memorial and Labor Day weekends. Occasionally, we relax minimum stay requirements based on availability or at short notice, please inquire.
We require 4 nights minimum between June 30th - July 4th (that includes the night of July 4th). We won't be able to accommodate arrivals or departures on 7/3 & 7/4. However, both days can be included in longer stays, subject to availability on the surrounding dates.

If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Wow!!! Paradise Shores is such a gem. Waking up right on the lakefront, the great communal kitchen and beautiful bathrooms (seriously, hot showers, great decor, even cuetips just in case!), and the fast wifi make staying here so simple... I didn't want to leave. The nearby town of Bridgeport is great for antique jewelry especially Navajo silver. Veronika and Dale are incredible hosts and know all sorts of amazing secret spots in the Sierra—ask about the waterslides and hot springs! This is such a perfect home base for adventures in the Eastern Sierra, you're only 40min from Tuolomne Meadows area and even closer to Mono Lake. I can't wait to come back!!
The place is really cool, you can tell they put a lot of love and intention into it. This is definitely primarily an RV spot, and the tent sites are pretty close together without a lot of cover between them, but the tent spots are right on the water, and the bathrooms and showers are nice and clean. We went for a quick kayak this morning on the kayaks they provide for free (very generous!) and it was so peaceful and beautiful. The sunset was amazing, the hosts were kind, just the kind of place to stop through in your travels.
