Palm's Ranch
Quiet, with beautiful views and a picnic table and fire ring perfect for cooking and hanging out. Very easy to find if you follow Lisa’s directions. Felt almost like wild camping, even though there are some neighboring houses visible in the distance.

Palm's Ranch
Nice spot but hard to get there
The spot is really nice, very close to JT national park but remote enough to enjoy the night sky. We were alone there which was a nice experience. The only thing is it was quite hard to get there with our campervan as there are no real streets and there ist a lot of sand and bumps on the way to the spot. In the dark it's almost impossible to find. Googlemaps will tell you a wrong way. Lisas descriptions were helpful though and the contact was easy and friendly. Would recommend with smaller RVs or cars and tents but not with bigger vehicles.

Palm's Ranch
Directions from Lisa was very accurate. We went to the site at 11 pm and it was not difficult to locate. We were able to have a bonfire and really enjoyed our time there. We were able to do stargazing.

Palm's Ranch
Looks secluded, but too noisy
Pros: campsite was easy to book, had a picnic table, some chairs, a bench, and a fire pit. Close to town and J Tree Park Cons: one of the houses nearby has a amateur dirt bike course with some jumps and there were teenagers riding their bikes during the day and late at night the first night. Also neighborhood dogs are left in the yards at night (assuming to fend off coyotes) and barked all through the night. Too noisy of a spot for me, so can't recommend.
