Yurts are a traditional Mongolian structure, composed of a single round room enclosed in sturdy lattice, tent and wood floor. Tai-Chi Yurt is placed in a central location on the farm, with arguably one of the best views of the property. It is a small hike uphill to get to the yurt, so keep this in mind when packing for your trip. It offers an exotic alternative to a traditional cabin rental. The grounds around this yurt provide ample opportunity for yoga, meditation, sunbathing and relaxation. Tai- Chi never fails in creating an atmosphere of peace while still allowing for easy access to shared community comforts.Tai-Chi Yurt Includes:
- Wood burning heater
- Sink and coat room
- Beautiful, large deck and meadow with views of property
- Two double beds
- Access to fully equipped communal kitchen (separate location)
Since we are solar powered, in winter, much of the time we do not have electricity. Please bring your own lighting :)

The vibe at Tai-Chi Yurt
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
The Tai-Chi Yurt has an incredible view of the Oz Farm property. It sits right in front of the river, which you can hear at night. It has an awesome deck with chairs that you can sit at and have a drink. The inside was clean and welcoming and we lit a fire at night which warmed the entire place. I highly recommend it! Pack lightly, it is a walk uphill from the parking lot.
Oz Farm is lovely. My friend and I (plus the dog!) stayed here for two nights and had a great time. The yurt is up the hill overlooking the farm. You couldn't ask for a more idyllic or private view. Oz farm a special place and I would recommend it to anyone looking to have a quiet weekend!
Wonderful family weekend! Worked really well with our two children who are 1 and 3. The yurt was warm enough, we did take extra duvets which were used. There is a small hill climb up to the yurt but our 3 year old enjoyed the hike. Lovely farm, great facilities and a little creek to explore. Will definitely be going back.
