The vibe at Sunset Yurt
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Walk about: Parking to yurt seemed less than 15. Community house washroom with all amenities is kind of like the "yurt resort.” Do take to the Garcia and listen to the low flow river sing sweet songs to rock your soul. Support the farm: purchase a produce box!
Yes to the yurt. A few tips + tales: Sleeping bagged it yet cozy overnighting with wood-burning stove roaring. Sound travels from down yonder and the home that's uphill, but gently so and did not disturb the peace. Earns its name if you twilight from the deck.
Awesome. Great people, welcoming, rustic facilities but VERY clean, common-house kitchen was perfect for cooking. Swimming and hiking were top notch. Hard to find staff, check–in was difficult, but his was not really a problem. Sunset Yurt was private and quiet, a great getaway.
This place is magic. We arrived on a Friday and stayed until Sunday. The staff was so friendly and helpful but also not around that much, which made it feel like we had the place all to ourselves. :) The river area is super close to the yurt so we had a lovely picnic and we loved that we were able to use the wood burning stove in the room to heat up our morning coffee. It was so romantic and lovely!
The Sunset Yurt at Oz Farm is amazing! We should have prepared and brought food to cook in the awesome communal kitchen. We also wish we had a camping stove in the yurt for making coffee... next time! The drive from the road to the farm was a little bumpy on my prius, and there is a little trek from the car to the yurt. We loved it though! And so did my dog. She could run off leash and prance around.
