We provide a romantic get-away under the huge oaks in secluded, quiet area of the farm. Glamping consists of a 10' x 14' tent with a queen-sized bed, comfortable interior and a large deck under the oaks to chill and relax. We have a lovely outdoor kitchen option. There is a nice shower house and bathroom which is shared with a few other people. We have a retreat center on the property where yoga classes are offered weekly and other retreats i.e. kirtan, musical events, and other spiritual meditative retreats are offered. (Events and classes are at the website: branchmillorganics.com There are also hikes to the creek on the property or a short drive to trails at Lopez Lake or to Pismo & Grover Beach. Super views and mellow vibes!

The vibe at Oak Haven/ Branch Mill Organic Farm
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Our stay at the Oak Haven was such a peaceful escape!
Nestled behind a local organic farm and retreat center in the California central coast, the tent site sits under an incredible 350 yr old oak tree. Ruth, the host and farm owner, greeted us upon arrival and gave a short run-down of the accommodations and amenities. She was very welcoming and made sure that we had everything we needed to be comfortable!
The tent had ample space inside and we had such a great night’s rest in the comfy queen bed. The kitchen area was perfect for making our morning coffee to enjoy on the deck. The bathroom and shower room are also a huge perk. They were very clean and the shower had hot water in seconds. Towels were not provided, so be sure to bring your own. You'll likely need them anyways if you plan to hit up the nearby beaches :)
We really enjoyed our stay at Oak Haven and can’t wait to come back!
This camp is already well on its way to be a gem in the glamping category. The tent is elevated with a broad wood patio in front perched just to the side of a 350 year-old oak tree, the furnishings inside are tasteful and sparse, the host gave me a warm welcome and the mattress was so comfortable I'm considering upgrading my mattress at home!
The bathrooms are really something special. Using Japanese techniques and beautiful wood and stone, they blend into the environment but are fully modern with high flow and plenty of hot water.
On the other side is a small but fully equipped kitchen with four gas burners, a wok and other small cooking pans. You can cook a full meal here, just add your own spices. Then place the leftovers in the small fridge. There is even an outdoor washer and dryer.
Since this camp is new, I spoke at length with Ruth, the host, and shared some of the features I have found that set apart a destination. This is from using AirBnB for five years and experiencing wonderful spots in Spain, Mexico and all over Canada and the US. In other words, I'm looking forward to checking back in on a future trip and getting to relax once again on the front porch sipping a cool drink.
