Beautiful small cabin nestled in the oak woodland, wake up a stone throw's away from our private secluded year-round creek/river and lush, magical, swimming hole. Cabin is a single room with bed, it has electricity and heater, but no internet as it is far from the landowners' main house, Full sized bed with clean very very cozy bedding. There is room on the floor for one more person if you bring your own pad - but really and truly this cabin is for 2 people.

You will experience the Absolute quiet of nature with its unique sounds and visitors (water birds, deer, fox, rabbits, are all frequent friends), in a gorgeous cabin with a small deck. There is another bigger cabin a few feet away that can also be booked together. Outhouse nearby. Walking the trails up toward the main house where the land owners live, you will find an out-dwelling with a small but fully equipped guest kitchen (fridge, stove, utensils, etc. no microwave) and a full bathroom with hot shower.
A firepit is available for use in this area as well as a grill.
Hanging around this area you will have (relatively fast) internet access if you need it.

We are surrounded by thousands of acres of protected land, so this is TRULY a retreat space. Oaks, gentle trails, open sky, and the sweet waters of our year-long creek with its 100 feet long 12 feet deep swimming hole. In the winter, the rocky boulders by the creek provide blissful meditation spots, and there is much walking, feeling, delighting, and resting to be had.

We are 2.5 hrs form the Bay Area (during non-rush hour times).

Fires are allowed
Potable water is available

Really enjoyed our stay here! It is definitely a retreat with a holistic vibe. Perfect for meditation or just relaxing off the grid.

It's far from park sites, so bring only what you can carry! When the trail is wet it's muddy so hiking boots are recommended to and from the main house. My recommendation is to take a pack with provisions and books and drinking water, head down from your car and just stay put. There's a camp stove provided and a pot to boil water, and a large porch to sunbathe or cook on.

The bed is ridiculously comfy. You won't need extra blankets or pillows. Electricity is there, but it can get cold so bring a sweatshirt for outside! There's a gorgeous pasture with a creek running through it off the main house to explore and it's like something out of a fairy tale. Nice little beach for a summer swim too.

Exactly what we were looking for! The cabin is in a perfect setting; beautiful land, saw great wildlife, swam in the creek, read, etc. We prepared as if we were camping, which meant all the extras felt luxurious. The kitchen and bathroom has more than needed. The bed is comfortable.

Both cabins are close to each other but feel very isolated from everything else. The hike from the kitchen/parking area is steep and a bit strenuous. The river is a short walk, you can't really see it from the cabins, but you can hear it. The smaller cabin is more sunny than the larger cabin. We found out after we booked that campfires were actually not allowed. This was a bit of a bummer because that was one of the filter criteria we used to find this place.

Great place ! We came on a super hot weekend (107!) so the cabin was so hot we could only use it to sleep in and still then very hot without fans. The little deck out front is great- the other cabin is a stones throw behind you but still feels private. One of the best swimming holes I've ever experienced a few feet away and the shared kitchen up the hill was a lifesaver. Highly recommend.
