Noma is a 22 acre private camp area adjacent to over a thousand acres of protected government land (@nomacasa on Instagram). We offer two sites, one towards the western edge of the property, and the other ~600ft to the east.

The property is covered in Joshua Trees and natural foliage. The western side of the property gently slopes up, offering beautiful views facing east (be sure to watch a sunrise from here).

On the other side of this gentle slope rests thousands of acres of protected government land. On top of this rise, you can see stunning sunsets and sweeping views of the mountains off to the west. Below lies endless hiking and places to explore.

The area is safe and the neighbors are quite friendly. Music during the day is fine, but please avoid loud bass (one of our neighbors has a sensitivity to it). After 9:30pm, please keep music to a minimum. The property features various solar powered lighting features, like string lights and walkway lights to help guide your visit.

Loved the place. Beautifully lit with solar lights.. trees are the heroes with stars in the background.

Pretty sick, it’s off a dirt road with a ridge on one side, but there is some houses pretty close by on the other side. The privacy was good, just not totally out in the wilderness, which they even say there are neighbors so no biggie. Everything else was really nice though. Sweet fire pit, logs for seats, and nice spots for tents. All around, a really good spot. Oh, and if you hike up the ridge, it has some stellar views.

Such a fun and peaceful time camping at Noma. Plenty of Joshua Trees and stargazing. Really nice touch with the lighting. Close to great food in Yucca and 20 minutes from Joshua National Park. Would definitely camp here again.

So close enough for a quick getaway lots of wandering grounds and the set up is great for primitive camping.

Nice private camping spot amongst the Joshua Trees. Easy to get there and lots of great spaces to set up a tent. Love the nice touch the solar lights that pave that the way to the site and the string lights right near the fire pit give.

Amazing stay at Noma! We arrived later in the afternoon, so a perfect amount of time to explore some of the trails then make dinner and a fire. It was so nice to be outdoors with no worry of bumping into others or needing to make space when hiking around. It did get very windy at night so I would recommend bringing sleeping bag liners and extra warmth. Also just for anyone that needs to be extra safe these days, a warning that the man selling firewood did not wear a mask. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again someday for a longer stay to explore all the area has to offer. Would definitely reccomend!
