103 Stumptown Rd Trinidad, Ca 95570 Directions : Exit Trinidad Rancheria, take Frontage Rd north and turn Right on Stumptown Rd. The property is 1/8 a mile down the road on the left with multiple options for camping including a very large front area for group camping where multiple individuals may camp separately maintaining social distance. The back of this property is wooded and suited for this that prefer a bit more isolation. This is a lovely 2 acre site "in progress" slowly turning into a cabin with lots of farm life, overgrown blackberry bushes, pear, plum and apple trees. The communal fire pit, rustic kitchen, toilet and shower is in a fenced front portion of the property with goats, chickens, ducks and bunnies fences just next door. The overgrowth has left lots of small trees and branches coming from the earth which means pitching more than 2 tents will require a little effort with an ax, or some clippers which are available "of course" as well as any other yard equipment that may be required. There are plenty of places where a tent may find a home and if you'r interested in really " roughing it " you'r welcome to head out into the wilderness where the bush is thick and the amenities are few. Please note this is an overflow area that is specifically offered for those that require very little and are experienced campers that are willing to go with the flow and happy to share space with others.

Places to see near Nico K.’s Land
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Nico and Wrena pretty much saved our vacation. It was Labor Day Weekend, we had to flee our campground in the national forest b/c of smoke and noise, and we didn't have a place to go. Nico accepted our request within 15 minutes and was super responsive and accommodating the whole time. The amenities are pretty basic but they've got everything you need to pitch a tent and park your camper. And they could not be nicer. And the baby goats are cuuuuuuuute.
Nico was a great host. He was responsive and welcoming. He generously offered us to enjoy apple trees on the site and take as much as we wanted with us! Warm shower and portable water on site as promised. Thank you for the memorable stay. We definitely will be back :-)
Wooded, quiet, a bit funky
On the good side, the site is quiet and wooded and we were the only visitors. However, it really is a work in progress with some funky aspects--like an old, difficult gate that was hard to open. The host could provide more information on the bathrooms as we weren't even sure where they were (lots of out buildings and a couple of permanent RVs on site.) It looks like they are working on the property and with time it should be a sweet spot.
